    As above there is nothing wrong with her eating just dry ferret food, it contains everything a ferret needs to stay healthy, it also does'nt attract flies in the summer as meat would do and it helps to keep its teeth in good shape. Sounds like you've got a good working ferret in the making, the more experience she gets the better she'll get. ATB Paddy.

    I think the micro just has a smaller transmitter on the collar, handy for smaller jills, hope somebody who has used one can give you a better answer but this is what I think the difference is between the two. ATB Paddy

    Its hard to beat a spot of wild brown trout fishing esp on the fly, well done cracking looking fish

    Colours make no difference in a ferrets working ability, some people prefer albinos or bews because they're easy to see in undergrowth etc, I personally could'nt care what colour the ferrets are as long as they're good workers, but i did have a very dark polecat colour Jill (which was stolen on me just a few weeks ago ) and I have to say it was the best looking ferret i've ever had.

    I have to agree vets will rip you off any chance they get, just make sure you tell them you dont want a consultation when you contact them. Every time i've brought my dogs to a vet even for just a check over they always test how deep my pockets are, They are nothing but con men.
