  1. As Moxy rightly says the height is the only issue that will bother any user . I must admit they are a great bit of kit , mine had the Sony lens and coupled with the L808 laser really took some beating . As far as the Photon , i think Stock and Tackle have confirmed they will be in within a month ?
  2. Take it where it came from , and ask them if you can shoot it there in front of them . At least that way they will see , and they can have first hand experiance of your trouble . End of the day , its alot of cash for somthing thats not working for you Dom .
  3. If its brand new take it straight back to where it came from . There`s no reason for a new gun to behave like that .
  4. Me mate has a few on ebay , but the winning bid so far is a company that want to sell em on , cheeky twats even mailed him for detailed pics !! Probably you lads will appreciate them more . Anyway , if your interested there here -- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221238226030?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 Cheers

  6. I genuinley asked the question, because there is now a big following for the springers . I didnt really want this to become anything other than genuine answers and comments from both camps.
  7. Well i hope it aint aimed at me ......... And good doing Davy boy
  8. Now thats a fair point Si , so why are they becoming so popular again ? Is it the whole experiance that you get , ie , the hours put in at the range , is it price , or are people going back to basics ? And just for the pm , its a genuine interest i have into why springers seem to be making a massive comeback . I`ll say , as ive said many times before , i dont shoot em , im more at ease with pcp`s . I have shot them , and no doubt will again at some point , but their just not for me . I find the cocking of a pcp outweighs the breaking of the barrel when your trying to blend in ,
  9. I find it interesting that the general idea is that anyone can pick up a pcp and shoot it . OK , i see that it would be easier , but do people really think pcp shooting is that easy ? Its not hard , we know that , but to get to a point where your confident in your own abilities , weather spriger or pcp , takes time and effort .
  10. Ok no need ot shout ! Im just genuinley interested in what makes it the `in ` choice ............
  11. Thats a fair comment Adam mate , but is it not just evolution that we progress to tools that make the job easier , if youget my drift ? I would be the first to recomend springers to start from , but is progression not the way we generally go ?
  12. Really so whats a tuned up springer cost ? Best part of £400 -£500 ? You cant get a pcp and pump for that ?
  13. Im just sat here , having just charged my guns , MFR .20 , and Airwolf .177 , for a trip out tommorow , and im thinking do i need a spring gun ? We started many years ago with a springer , my lad and I . It was an SFS ( yes they had a legendary name back then ) Brummy Stingray , in .22 . Once we got into it , and had a few permissions , the rifle really earnt its keep . I mean out 5 nights a week , and i can honestly say it never let me down once .As the permissions grew and the lad seemed to be chasing girls more than rabbits , i moved into PCP`s . Started in the Air Arms range and sta

  18. Each members new title has been given careful thought and consideration. There is a complaints process for miss named individuals or those who feel they are a victim of ridicule. However it's a very lengthy process and chances are you will be old, bald fat and grey before your plea is heard. Thats ok Sir Micheal Esq , we have the same powers on the Rapid forum . You have been warned
