    Ring and ask. I think once they've dug it out to check while you're on the phone they just plonk it back on top of the pile and it gets done. Tell them that the shotgun your mate's selling will be gone soon and you really wanted it as it's a good price. Down here they're quite reasonable in the office, just normal office girls, very helpful.

    It's a balancing act with any business nowadays, seems every time you get a good deal something comes along and robs all the money. Had our waste disposal renewal come through this morning. OK, only £5 a week but it's £5 a week you have to spend by law. No waste disposal cert no business. Then rent, rates, water, electric, vat, wages, van tax, insurance etc, etc. Goes out faster than it comes in. Plus I'm sat here doing quotes at 8.30 pm !!!

    DB, integration IS a big problem here, we neither want NOR NEED outsiders here. As for the British Empire then yes, it has gone, our politicians more or less sold it and pocketed the money. Regarding Europe, we do not want to be in it, we do not need them and neither do we want them. Again it's done so politicians can line their pockets at our expense. Why would we need immigrants or Europe ? we have the 4th biggest economy in the world and the rest of the planet still come here for technical design and manufacturing.     Think I'm getting a bit like that now. used to climb to E6 until my fifties so heights never bothered me. Don't think I'd be quick enough on my feet now to be safe on there though, one trip and it would be head first all the way down.

    Wonder what the european trucks use, if they still use 5160. I'll ask around, we have quite a lot of dealings with the spring and steel trade. If we could find a european truck that still uses it then steel supplies would be sorted as a lot still use leaves on front springs.

    We all know what the underlying issues are DB, Some of your brethren are trying to force a medieval religion on 21st century folk.     Typical, jumping to conclusions ! I said I was about, not taking part. I was born in 53, the big riots were sixty's , I was too young to take part. My parents made sure we couldn't go and watch (everyone knew when and where) but I did see the aftermath. allah won't help you, nor this mohammed guy , no medieval religion is going to help. It's unfortunate the government have let it get to this stage but I fear it is. Time will tell.

    You just don't get it do you DB. We didn't have a problem when we had a few Indians, poles Russians etc over here, and the main reasons we didn't have a problem was (A) their parents or themselves had served in the British army, in the defence of THIS country and (B ) they fitted in. They quietly went about their business, they built places of worship in convenient places, they acted as we do.
