    Why not if it's perfectly legal, which it is to my understanding? I think because to hold an fac you're supposed to be of a calm and non violent disposition. Don't really know the answer to this one.

    I'm no expert, but, does it get cold, really cold? I think if not it's more than likely leaked the gas out. If it hums then probably motor / compressor is OK (note "probably") I would think not worth bothering with, take it to the tip, they have a disposal point for them. If you put it out the front for scrapmen they'll take the good bits and leave you the rest.

    Not so sure you would. It's a question of how proportionate your actions are to the assault upon the cops. If the cops are at risk of serious injury or death then the law of self defence says you can use reasonable force to defend them. In my opinion that would include plugging them. I'm sure any firearms cops attending would plug them......what's the difference ? Not self defence though is it, you would be actually seeking trouble by stopping to help ?

    I'll bet they do come from far and wide, 10 miles doesn't take long at 20 mph in a straight line. And the reason you see them in built up areas ........ it's warm ! 20 minute glide for breakfast then nip back to somewhere warmer.

    Give this some thought before answering. And bare in mind police have kids / wives / parents at home You're on your way to or back from a shoot, you have a firearm / shotgun in the motor and you see Muslims attacking police, a serious attack with knives, machetes etc. What would you do ?

    If you're looking for (relatively) cheap to buy, cheap to run, cheap spares, easy to work on and all garages can fix them it doesn't leave a lot of choice. There's a reason so many folk slag disco's, there's millions of them about. You have a lot of motors ...... you get a lot of horror stories. You have a few motors .............. you get a few horror stories. Simples!!!

    Is it just coincidence that these terrorists are now calling for any and all police to be killed on the spot , and not long ago the police announce they were closing police stations or making them closed to the public ? Did the police know about all this a while ago, but said nothing?

    I had a 3ltr td auto, pulled like a train, drank fuel like it was going out of fashion . nice to drive if you get used to the peculiar driving position (high floor, low roof, legs straight out) It all worked (most of it) The known fault killed it in the end. The rad has an oil cooler in it that blocks the water outlet, so when you pull HARD uphill it over heats (Heads of the valleys with trailer). This did it one too many times and I refused to stop. (just in traffic with no trailer) It died. Would I have another ........ No. parts are too expensive and used are hard to find, you're just w

    that's easy, they will waste it on wind farms, made in our ship yards, but by an Eastern European workforce I thought most wind turbines came from the likes of China ??? That's one of the arguments against them. By the time you take into consideration the emissions and energy to make them, ship them thousands of miles by sea,unload and store them, then ship them from the docks to the site, then erect them they've already used more energy than they can produce before they need major overhaul !!!

    It was completely the wrong move to shoot at his head. he'll be over it in a few weeks and that will be it, forgotten about. If they had been successful in killing him he wouldn't have known anything about it, so that's a failure. Now, both knees with a 12 gauge and he would have remembered it every time he jumped on his mobility scooter to go to the shops Looks like it was carried out by someone who gave it no thought what so ever. And no, I'm not suggesting anyone takes up the hobby of shooting other folk.

    Mine is capable, but I don't do it. Chances of getting caught are slim but the fact remains you then have an unlicensed firearm, that's not for me thank you !
