    i can't believe this lad is getting so much hassle over 12 rabbits and 2 pheasants, all of you's that are saying that it's fuel for the anti's, don't make me f*****g laugh, there have been far worse put up on this site, i for one am out walking/mooching with my whippetx and cocker nearly everyday, if they get a few rabbits then good and well, if they don't then they will be there for another day, give the lad a break, no laws have been broken

    i honestly dont think they were feeding it as too many people about comeing and going from the shops and the pup,and like i said we have far too many cats round here so dont think it would lasted the night. if it had been any where else i would of left it . no bother mate, the kids should have great fun rearing it

    good luck with rearing it mate, but i think you should have left it where it was, this is an all to common problem at this time of year, people "find" chicks and think they have been abandoned, the parents are more than likely nearby and feeding it.

    thank feck i don't live over there, i think the police could be spending there time a bit better, trying to make out that all hare coursers carry guns and are criminals.

    i have never fed my dogs tinned, i give my dogs a mixture of feed, i keep dry, sardines and raw, if i forget to defrost the raw i just give them dry or sardines, or both.

    Listen adam with dogs s**t always going to happen....and it 99%down to handler...as much as we would like to blame it on the dog or other parties.....but ignore all the negativity posted, try to take the positive from this, this is why you obviously posted, you want viewpoints, not slating!!!!! The dog wasn't properly broke, my method....."dog used to walking on lead, when he/she hears the click of the fastener they know they off the lead, this is the learning zone! Fasten 10ft of cord around collar and then around your hand, unclip lead from collar,the dogs furthest limit is now only 10 ft

    I know a vet in Mayo, that is very good and is a greyhound vet too. His not that expensive either. I too vaccinate my own, as JF said, far cheaper then the vets over here. one of the very few that aren't out to rip you of

    you don't have to have a kelpiex to get the benefit of purdy's progress, it will teach a beginner the basic commands in training a lurcher which will hold them in good stead for the start of there hunting partnership.

    thats what i miss about going to ireland for greyhounds.the chemists were an alladins cave lol alot cheaper than going to the vet. to right mate,my old mans mate was right into stocking up when we went,can always remember him buyin a bottle of euthatal.worked out he could pts 7dogs from the bottle.cost him £8.50 dont know what that was in punts back then lol yet the vets over here charge a small fortune to pts saved himself a few bob there, i can buy the 8 in 1 vaccine for €12.50 ( £10), to go to the vet it would cost € 40-50, i know people who take there pet dogs to
