never been herd of that mate duno where peopls have got tht from tht a farmer introduces it. so what are you saying then? not trying to argue ur that mate just saying that its never been herd of farmers introducing it i thought it was well known that farmers bring it onto there land, for whatever reasons, they certainly do over here and over there. all farmers around my area just put the word out to other farmers that have lads on controlling rabbits to do there land aswell no bother mate.

It's never actually been legal to put it down so no idea where they get it from. They would either have to infect a rabbit and introduce it to the population or catch a mixy alive from somewhere else and release it on their land. cheers mate, i was thinking along the lines of catching and releasing a myxi rabbit.

How tall is she JF1970? she is just under 20tts.

3/4 whippet 1/4 beddy, in the pic she is 10 mths old, she is now 14mths.

i feed my whippet x raw= rabbit, butcher offcuts, sardines in tomato sauce, egg, liver, the list goes on, i also feed redmills racer+ 3 days and the raw for the other 4, everyone will give you differences of opinions, what you have to do is work out what works best for your dog and your wallet. hope this helps a bit cheers......john

I have been really lucky then to only encounter it once in my life and even luckier that when I did it was about 10 miles from my permission. 10 miles apart won't stop it mate, it is capable of travelling the whole country. I'm just trying to think positively mate lol, sorry mate, i know what your saying, it's great to get a bit of permission with a good head of rabbits, then to turn up one day and see them with myxi, heart sinks.

Perhaps its just the way You worded it, If Your at the 6 week stage and add 4, I will let You do the maths From the picture the bitch does not look in pup, but for the sake of a few quid I would get Her scanned for My own piece of mind, could be one or two tucked away in Her rib cage. I have always found the nipples a good indication that things are looking good at about the 21 to 28 day stage. I always had My bitche`s scanned at 35 days just so I can plan in advance.
