  1. that won't happen with jose, i have no doubt he will win trophies with chelsea, but a stayer he is not.
  2. chloramphenicol, which is a type of medicine called an antibiotic. Antibiotics are used to treat infections caused by bacteria. (NB. Chloramphenicol eye drops and ointment are also available without a brand name, ie as the generic medicine.) Chloramphenicol is known as a broad-spectrum antibiotic, which means it is effective against infections caused by a wide variety of bacteria. Chloramphenicol works by preventing bacteria from producing proteins that are essential to them. Without these proteins the bacteria cannot grow, replicate and increase in numbers. Chloramphenicol therefore control
  3. i just go to the chemist and buy chloromycetin for any eye infections.
  4. i have a 3/4 whippet 1/4 beddy bitch, she is 3yrs old now and 20tts, she has great feet and unlike what alot of people say, she hasn't had any bad injury or skin rips, she doesn't have a thick coat but it's tight (if you know what i mean). she is great at ferreting, lamping, caught a few big rabbits daytime and will tackle things that bite back, if there was anything i would like her to have it would be a few more inches, other than that she does me, there is one thing about these wee dogs, they can and will punch well above there weight.
  5. or buster seems to know whats going on?
  6. sounds like you have it well thought out, good luck with your pup
  7. i have 1+2 dvd, watched it a few times and enjoyed it every time, some dogs
  8. i'm 8 miles from carrick, good few hares around, hardly any rabbits, loads of fallow, less pheasants than rabbits lol, if you stick to hares, rabbits and pheasants you will be within the law, stay away from the deer with dogs, most farmers round this end of the country are sound as long as you don't act the bollox, but like anywhere else you will get the odd bad tempered one lol.
  9. no turf cut on the bog i use yet, this time last year i had it footed for the 2 weeks of scorching weather.
  10. your having a laugh, why would moyes get the job? i would be very surprised to hear that.
  11. i havn't been in the same position as regards the age of the dog, imo though i would treat it as a pup, i wouldn't bother with any quarry for now, get the basics together first, bonding, sit, stay, recall and broken to stock, do this through the summer months and take it from there.
  12. never did like him, what a load of old shiit.

    Swallows...

nothing here yet on the west coast of ireland, last year i seen my 1st on 23rd april so i still have a week to go.
  14. you admit to being a beginner, so why won't you listen to what others are trying to tell you, you have contradicted yourself far to often to be taken seriously. My dog is next to stock every day - lambs loose on the path - two foot away. He totally ignores them. He comes in to heel when called. I'm just not happy to let him off with the number of lambs we have around at the moment. He's not broken to horses because there aren't any around, same with cattle. I've taken advice off here before and found it very useful - I'm delighted to take advice - tell me what more I can do. if he doe

  16. I can take any amount of respect:) and back at you. I can't fault the way you train your dogs. I've made it clear on the forum that I'm a beginner with lurchers, although I have some ferreting experience with other peoples Bedddy and Saluki X's - my dog is miles behind even a one year-old Saluki X. For my training info I have to make do with what I read on forums, what I read in books, and what I pick up from otjhers (one of my mates is an ex-gamekeeper). I have the dog to the point where he comes in to the whistle straight away, and right in, like a second skin. He leaves ducks alone
  17. why do you keep coming back to the "how much deerhound in the x" it doesn't matter whats in the mix, they should be broken to stock when they are pups, no excuses, which is what you are making.
  18. People who think its sport give yourselfs a shake for fxck sake. Get out in the daytime and if you cant catch them stick to your easy raddits, your only kidding yourselfs thinking your dog can catch a hare. A lad come with me at the end of dec with his little bitch what had being cleaning them up easy on the lamp last 6 it had run was all in the bag, anyway hare jumps 20 yards away and sure enough he drops her straight on about 2 min later bitch runs out of steam after never looking like catching it If thats not proof in the pudding what is and what gives you the right to tell others what
  19. if thats what you do then the best of luck to you.

  21. i wasn't talking about driven shoots, and to say that the hare population would recover if shotguns and rifles were totally banned, surely you can't believe that.
  22. there you go again, like only the daytime lads can do that.
