  2. Is this still for sale where are you based?
  3. Thank you very much. He is mate yeah! Lots of stick. He's not got a massive amount of Bull in him but enough to make it count! From what i have seen so far he is going to make a great all rounder. This puppy will stick stick stick he won't ever give up i can bet on that. He smashes through hedges fences not always a good thing when he keeps cutting his body up but i can't stand a dog that stops at the hedge!!!!! He has very strong feet to never cuts.
  4. Thanks Saluki246 much appreciated. Well speaking with the Wrynnes they say the farm in Carrick is littered with rabbits at the moment. So fingers crossed for the winter. Yeah id be more than happy to take a Lad with us on our Permission. Its not like i'm doing it for pest control and money. More sport and food
  5. There is no need for them to be rude.... They could aleast tell you to "please f**k off " Keep doing things right fella.. It will get better HAHA! Very true that! Yeah i wont lose patience my time will come one day im only 22 i've only been in the game a year!!! When you got idiots tearing shreds out of their seed fields etc can you blame them for being so arrogant.....
  6. Thank you mate. Yeah i have no doubts from what i have seen so far just got to take it steady no rush
  7. Round my way the first word is F**k OFF from the farmers to any youngsters looking for permission, Its as simple as that. TBH you can not blame them in some respects the minority get the majority tarred with the same brush thats society for you. Im only 22, id like to think i was well spoken and respected but i've not been give an acre of permission when asked, like i said i know a couple of farmers through family so have enough just to keep me occupied as i only have the one dog! Their are so many poachers in Dorset permission is not worth shit. Don't get me wrong i've (strayed) onto
  8. Just a quick few words for those who posted on my first post about my first Lurcher pup Paddy. He is coming on really well haven't run him since his little incident but he is all healed up well now and growing fast!! He has made 25-tts and looking really strong I will get some better pictures of him stood soon as i can. Cant wait for the winter months his speed should start to break around December time. I'm so pleased with his agility he stick so tight and turns really well hes got speed to, i couldn't have wished for anything more. ATB
  9. Some young lads need no encouragement they are keen as mustard they just go about the wrong way... Some older fellas are the same tho if they never learn the right way, they will always do it the wrong way.. The sport wont die it will just get worst i wonder why the go around it the wrong way? Who is going to give Permission to a lad between the age of 16-21? No one! I'm lucky knowing farmers through the family but most of the lads round here will never get permission to course anywhere and the same for anywhere else unless passed through the family. People's percepti
  10. Thanks for all the comments finally got a few straight answers my nans lived in Mohill Co.Leitrim for 8 years now so im no stranger to the place but ive never been over with a dog or asked about coursing which is why i started this post. I was always over their for the fishing and the peace My permission is from the Wrynnes who are my nans next door neighbours all be it 3 miles down the road!!! They have a farm for me in carrick and my nans friendly with 3 or 4 farmers in the area to who will all be happy to let me use their land. We ( me and my brother) may need a guide mind if anyone
  11. icemans in his forties ffs My point proven then...
  12. Its a known Fact that Rabbits are at it all year round there is no season for rabbits. All the rest are illegal to course anyway so therefore what season?..... No need to have the dig at the (YOUNGER SPORTSMEN) either whats to say its just the younger generation. In fact when i go out down here im more likely to see Lurchermen than Lurcherboys!!!!! Encourage the up and coming or the sport will die!
  13. Nice. Whats the risks if i have permission? or is it different over their? sorry for all the dumb questions but before i go gunhoe and end up in a load of trouble i thought id try find out some info....although i understand people dont like to share to much information. Whats the rules on certain quarry? Hares,Rabbits,Deer, pheasants, etc etc......is it the same as UK? Im not implementing ill be hunting all of these because i wont it will just be rabbits but just so i know?
  14. Hi Lads (and lasses), Off to Ireland sometime this year to my nans place in Co Leitrim near Carrick, I was wondering what the rules are on coursing out their as im taking my dog but don,t want to cause any hastle. I have thousands and thousands of acres im aloud on just wanted to ask the experts and the person who has given me permission doesnt know a great deal about it all. Many Thanks,
  15. Cheers Mate! Ian 1 Thank you very much. I am not 100% on how he was bred, I am told he has 1/4 bull and a lot of Grey in him. That is about all i know but however he was bred he has turned out to be a cracker so far.
