    A couple of things bother me about this thread, The really good Lurchers ive ever seen without exeption have had "drive" a lot of it,they dont get to 18 months and suddenly get it,its there from a young age,you get such a pup and keep it bottled up until its 12 months old and then run it,the drive and determination takes over the pups common sense and lack of experiance with obsticales and it runs into something? more likely with some breeds than others granted,give them all the obediance/schooling you like but when they see a rabbit at 12 months for the first time ever a dog with real dr

    Think ive got a couple on my phone,dont know how to put pictures up though? she's about 13" tts,very boxy type,rough coat black & tan, pretty typical of the type really.Brilliant on top as well,only flushing fox though. The lad works her very hard,says its the best hes ever had,hard to beleive as we dug together for a long time and and his old bitch was a hard act to follow.

    To little to late and with an election just around the corner? Call me a sceptic but why havent they done anything about this before. Its because Labour can see the publics reaction in no uncertain terms,dont fall for it. Eg when the Tories were in power Labour protested strongly about poll tax,what happened when they got in power,did they abolish it when they were so against it? Will they stick to this and do even more if they get re-elected? LMFAO. Its a move in the right direction but these muppets have caused this situation in the first place.

    This is a common scenario,and when i was on sites it was very common for the builders to have young Brickys and use them as cheap labour,its being going on for years and makes my blood boil to be honest. One time a few years ago me and my mate were building a few bungalows for a "builder"[arsehole] the training agency let him have 3 lads from colledge supposedly he was giving them site experiance,the only experiance they got was mixing gobbo and carrying bricks,blatent slave labour and nothing in return,i tried a bit with them on friday afternoons when the wages were earned,good lads as well,

    Border x Lakelands used to be pretty common round me,not a lot of genuine 1st x's though,more a mixture of the 2,ussually less Border than Lakeland,some of mine were bred like this and can be very good dogs depending on the breeding. My mates got one, more Lakeland than Border and its a well proven bitch,100% below ground.

    Know and understand what the "let them in and show them youve nothing to hide" lads are saying,but surely if you havent got anything to hide they cant do anything anyway? Personally i would politely tell them "you arent the police and have no powers,if you want to see my dogs/kennels get a police warrant" If they do get a warrant the RSPCA inspectors name has to be on the warrant,or he cant legally enter any of your property look at your dogs/kennels fact.     Agreed mate being saying that for years,we all know a good few,one geezer i know been on it for 20yrs with depression,doesnt stop him going to the boozer day and night though? but same again who makes the rules?     Thanks Artic things have changed,that situation was a while ago,thankfully weve had some good luck and are better off than a lot of small companies i know,its not easy but at least were surviving the recession,even managed to take on a trainee recently.     You cant argue with blokes who breed rabbits if they say it turns red when they come in season i beleive it,but the buck piss is dark as well,maybe its both reasons? Ive caught loads of rabbits that have been feeding on Beetroot,if they eat enough it turns their flesh a pink hue,and some of the best tasting rabbits ive ever eaten were these beetroot pinky ones,just thought ide chuck that in.

    Feelings are running high on these issues because we are all feeling the pressure,but this shouldnt turn into a race slanging match imo,because trust me that isnt the real cause of our problems.     I started in the building game with my dad before i left school,every close male relative ive got,uncles,cousins,sons ect are in the game.Ive been an immigrant worker myself and im a director of a small building company,i know a bit about the building game to say the least.     My lads got some permission around 20 miles from where we live,the landowners tried picking up a few myxies and dropping them[i obviously dont agree with this]and they havent been touched,they seem "immune" to myxi. So when we got permission and ferreted a good few we had an "accident" on the way home,some rabbits escaped alive in our area,things looked pretty good for a while with plenty of young rabbits bobbing about in the area,and then myxi [or something]broke out again and flattned them.     6 of the rabbits i got last week wer full of youngins mate Well i dont breed rabbits mate so i dont know if they produce red urine when they are in breeding condition,and ive seen young rabbits with snow down in my time,but ussually later on in a cold snap,my mate found a dead leverette last season at xmas? although the weather wasnt that bad. When you catch a buck and "piss it" when the snows been down a while and its "red" is it coming in season?

    Theres something fishy going on imo,around 4 seasons ago we noticed strange coloured rabbits appearing,sort of sandy yellow colour,they appeared on the local golf course and a few miles away on an ex industrial site thats now been turned into a nature reserve,since then the rabbits have been decimated by myxi in these areas and generally all around us. Ive been hunting this area for around 35 yrs and this was the first time ive seen these strange coloured rabbits,the 2 sites are completely seperate yet these rabbits appeared at the same time?     On another site ive said ill "overlook" the mohammed/pedo aspect of islam if they can bring a gynocologist/peadiatricion who will testify that a 9 yr old girl is perfectly fine having intercourse,no takers yet,but "struck off" comes to mind.
