Damage To Swift Moderator By Hmr Bullet
danw replied to kenj's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Not particularly on topic but I have seen 2 handguns blown apart back in the day by bullets lodging in their barrel and both times it came down to the use of progressive reloading presses loading rounds with a primer but no powder the primer had just enough go to push the bullet out of the case but not out of the barrel -

In fairness, that's the first I've heard of him breaking his collar bone and ribs, obviously I don't find that part funny.. It's human nature to laugh at other peoples misfortunes, can you seriously sayin you've never laughed at a mate going ass over tit after a few beers or anything? Laughing at a mate sat on his arse pissed up is somewhat different from laughing at someone seriously injured whilst doing their job isn't it? Oh and you fecking knew he was seriously injured as soon as the tire hit him did you? Bet you're a right barrel of laughs sat watching something like 'You've bee

"Well it's like this officer they peregrin did it"!!!!!

The general licence allows the taking of what would otherwise be protected species it is not method specific and regardless of whether you use a gun, trap or bop you are bound by its conditions and it very clearly excludes the use of artificial lighting for the taking of anything other than feral pigeon http://www.naturalengland.org.uk/ourwork/regulation/wildlife/licences/generallicences.aspx#2013
-
It also says this mate . Its illegal to use any form of artificial lighting or any mirror or other dazzling device;
-
The general licence is quite clear it is illegal to lamp birds other than ferals

How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property - either as a child, a wife, or a

I stand by my signature just cause your born in Britain it doesn't make you British just the same as a dog born in a stable isn't a horse.

The one from 14a is a very good little hammer, and well suited to the job. I don't own one, but I have handled and used one and it certainly seems as close as you can get to the real deal. If I needed a trapping hammer, for daily use that would be my choice. It's a quality item. It's all very well watching the pennies, but cheap crap from China just doesn't do it for me, but each to his own. Cheers Matt I'll be ordering one in the morning
-
Keep promising myself a trapping hammer from fourteen acre any experience of them matt or should I stick with my cheapo version?
