  1. Sounds like a good programme bud, but Ive too many birds to even think about doing that. Been given a bit of timber, so I might have to see how far that goes.. And maybe a bit of a cull. Any news on the sevin?
  2. Hey up.. Found a few mites in the boxes I put the Roo`s away in and upon further inspection, I found a coop that was alive. So Ive torn it down and burnt it, along with a couple of small coops and transport boxes. Ive cleaned everything out and burnt the waste. Then I gave them all a good dusting with DE and today a good spray with a concentrate.. There f***ing all over me, Im having to shower after going in with any of the birds straight away, the Mrs is going crazy and Im looking for some bigger guns!! Heard sevin 10% is quite toxic and works better than DE, anyone know where to get s
  3. Is it a first time broody? Ive got 3 this year, and the first sitting from two birds was disastrous. The partridge Wyandotte attacked the first chicks she hatched out, I don't think she was sure they we`re hers or where they had come from. I managed to rescue them from deaths door, all cold and deflated. They were fine after an hour under the electric hen. And the other broody come off the nest at 20 days, but I didn't notice until the eggs were well and truly cold.. Fingers crossed boys... What you got due out Whippet, chickens and ducks?
  4. I forgot the old faithful empty plastic/paper feed sack. Again, keep an eye on them an remove any bits they shred off.
  5. You might have some rare EU beaver X`s there bud? Sorry, couldnt hold it in much longer.. Any kitten toys are fine, but keep an eye on any that seem to be getting chewed. Don't spend too much dough on them, cos their easier binned than cleaned, balls always seems to find fresh turds..
  6. Crown, bottle of booze..
  7. Wouldn't be without one. As The One said, even if you cant/wont dig, its nice to know their still in there. Only downside is that they are shite near pylons, electric fences and made up ground with lots of metal. As for a price, your looking at between £ - 140 I should think. I noticed your flag, there was a mk3, collar and 20 nets on preloved in Exeter for £..
  8. f*****g Mites!! Just burnt a few coops and dusted all the birds..

  12. Not colour coded so to speak, But the colours let me know whats what, as Ive made all but 20 of them. Falls apart a bit when Ive someone who dont know my bag though and they start putting 4ft`s or 5ft pokes over small fist sized bolt holes, you can regularly see me watching, seething on some other part of the warren...
  13. The vet I seen told me it would be safe to put them back with a hob (If I had one) after a week. Didnt mention the swelling. It takes a little while to swell up, so Im guessing it takes a while to go down..
  14. 7 to 15 4 at 15 then back to 7 get 18 out a spool Normally a bit bombed out in the evenings, cant be doing with all the counting Have you not seen them webs the spiders in the labs make after testing
  15. Its cos their in season and hormonal. They are sexually frustrated and trying to dominate each other.Trip to the vets for a jab or the use of a vasectomised hob will do the business but minus the young.
  16. 12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,20,20,20,20,19,18,17,16,15,14,13,12 on a 2. 1/4 board gives me a nice wide, shaped 4ft net, get around ten out of a spool.
  17. The bottle at my vets looked like a really big bottle for what she took out of it. It cost me £7.97 per jab, which I dont think is that expensive. The consultation was £16.28 each! All she done was weigh them FFS. It had one of them tops you can keep sticking needles in and it won`t leak.. Im thinking its a broad spectrum drug for most mammals, based on weight. Delvosteron Ive been billed for? Someone near me said they have some silver kits, so I might get a hob done for next year though.
  18. Cant moan at that really can you bud. I joined the ferret club any way, so next march, I`ll get them done for a 5er each. Yeah, mine we`re in season until last week. I was gonna breed again this year, but then I had a few little bits of work, so decieded against it, and gifted my 3rd jill away to some one who wanted a few kits, so he could breed his own. As you say about keeping them clean, I had one jill in particular Ive had to bathe every week, she was well up for spreading her scent.. You cant half notice a difference in their behaviour now they are brought out, lively and lookin
  19. were do you get that mate ? Hope it wasnt a rat he hasnt had his booster yet ! eBay mate! Good thing about it is it drys rock hard, just leave it until it falls of on its own because every time one of mine has cut their ears before using this stuff they'd shake their head just when you thought it was healing up open it back up and fling blood all over the place lol This happens all the time here, I find it more trouble letting it scab up. My JR bitch is always ripping her ears in the bramble, which will scab for a week or whatever, then out we go again and the bramble rips the scab of
  20. What happens when the implant runs out? does it totally dissolve or are you left with a lump like the woman`s implant?
  21. Got us by the balls.... I phoned the vets that has links to the wessex ferret club, thinking, he`s ferret minded... The phone dolly asked if I was a member, I said no, she said £35 each. Went to a local one in the end, £48.50 for the two. But like you say, 6 or 7 quid for the jab, and 16 quid each for a f***ing consultation, I wouldnt mind but I weighed them myself before I went! Then, the bellend of a vet stuck the needle straight through one`s scruff and squirted the gear all over the bench.. I thought, done this before aint ya..
  22. EVERYONE!!!! Just got to get out there and keep knocking and asking.
  23. Mobile phones and charger! Sad mate, hope you find good homes for them, all the best with the sale.
  24. Ferret drippy dick syndrome? Vac hobs are known to pick up diseases when passed around as a stud. Poor little f****r. Might want to clean him up though, stop the flies laying eggs in there.
