  1. Been looking at blades, found this pipe, too nice for baccy though http://www.perkinknives.com/custom-handmade-damascus-knife-tomahawk-axe-beautiful-walnut-hatchet-973-p.asp
  2. Get up there at night with a lamp, see where they run, they will know their way home. Without seeing the 35 holer its hard to say, you couldnt even say for sure just by looking at it. If its a short bank, the holes are more than likely connected, and if its a long bank they could be seperate burys. If in doubt, section the bank with stop nets and like armdog says, start at one end.
  3. Depends on the land, wet, dry, cover.... Certain people will tell you have "bush" rabbits, ones that will predominantly live in the thick brush, so dont go down holes. My verdict is still out on this. Look for clumps of cover with runs going into them, get in there and take a look. I take it your gonna ferret them when you find them so look for the smaller occupied clumps of cover, rabbits will run rings round a few ferrets in big thick cover and you`ll be lucky to see one without a assortment of kit
  4. I hate gutting stone cold rabbits - at home.

  5. Yeah I like the shape of the sharpfinger Bosun. Nah, Im not on face ache Paul. Never have been mate.
  6. Very similar Bob, mines more of a skinner though, more curve on the blade. I bought it as a kid, 35 years ago! Nice. I wish I had some of the blades I had as a boy. If someone had a knife I liked, I`d swap half my bedroom for it, then ultimately, me Ma would confiscate it. I`m still being given blades back now 25 years on I dont even recognise lol. None of the good ones mind
  7. Like this Bos? &ff14=95&ff19=0'>http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/131010689972?hlpht=true&ops=true&viphx=1&lpid=95&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=&ff14=95&ff19=0
  8. I dont want to start recommending this seller, as Ive not felt/used his gear yet but he has a few nice knives at real fair prices..
  9. Yeah thats what I thought Bos... Im sure midnight said the cheap damascus is just that, cheap. But we`ll see. Im hoping its here tuesday. Just gonna go have a mooch for your blade.. Sounds nice.
  10. Always fancied a damascus knife, they sure do look pretty, and usually cost a lot more.. Seen this on amazon, thought I`d give it a shot. Its only use will be for opening rabbits up, as Ive found (might just be me) , it dont matter how sharp your knife is, if it hasnt a decent point, you can some times make gutting a rabbit harder than it is.. I plan on sharpening the top edge an inch too, so it should be a little effective zipper (If it dont crumble in my hands )http://www.amazon.co.uk/Genuine-Handmade-Damascus-Complete-Leather/dp/B00JNTBHCY/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1397980511&sr=8-4&a
  11. Yeah. Ive fed "pet" mince from the butchers and pets at home do all sorts of minced meat, chicken, beef, fish, lamb, rabbit... Gets a bit expensive if thats all you can get though, Its about 90p a small slab.
  12. Me too. WTF. I dont want to be the midget. Who is he? Right good looking b*****d with a giant cock Bob no change there then
  13. Nah. I only watch natural history stuff or people hurting themselves Socks was banging on about it and vikings? Not much of a tv person. Im off rabbit shooting tonight

  15. Bought my two rod licences today, wasnt gonna bother this year, fell out of bed with fishing the last few years tbh, but this comp has lit the fire again.. Bit gutted though cos I threw a shitload of coarse tackle away about a month ago. C`est la vie..
  16. Nope, only thigh rubbing that goes on is my Mrs` and my face Im a svelt 13 n half stone
  17. f***ing knew it wouldnt be long.. Or the scouse shoplifting wise cracks..
  18. Not sure. Im 5.11 and I can stand up in there. They were falling from about 5ft and it made a horrible noise.. I tried a 4 inch shelf halfway up my window, but they bypassed it somehow, and the shelf made it harder for them to come down.
  19. Normally just combats and t shirt Malt. Not the cheapo type either, genuine ex army, theres more poly in the cheap copy`s, which I swerve. I had the shocks all last summer from wearing swimming shorts, as soon as I stopped wearing this certain pair, it stopped. Now it happens what ever Im wearing. Also sometimes I`ll walk the shop and the alarm goes off, no car no static? Got to be something along your line of thinking as some days I`ll take my flat cap off and my hair crackles. Weird. Must be moving too fast
  20. Be nice when its finished bud. Ive not long finished mine, similar shape. Bloody heart breaking when your ferrets climb to the top then fall off - onto concrete or my in my case slab. And the noise the better climbers make "abseiling" down from the top at night can be quite loud.. Ive just had to put mini pvc corrugated sheet up most of the front to stop them climbing the mesh.
  21. Nope, thats one of the places Ive never had a bolt Pip
  22. Just lately Ive been getting electric shocks off two or three different cars/van and also Ive been setting shop alarms off usually entering the shop but not coming out? Sometimes its both. This has happened in my local shop and local asdas. Any ideas? Cant wait till I can harness the power and shoot lightning bolts out of my palms
  23. Can you put me down for +1 to fish the comp ? My car sounds like it wont make next month never mind august, so my fishing/ferreting pal said he`d come, drive and enter the comp if theres space. Or he`s happy to fish another lake on the day if theres no spaces?
  24. Looks like you had one of them cookers blow too, all the duct tape repairs!
