  8. I very rarely dig foxes any more, just because there isn't enough of them around here , but Racoons i'll dig whenever and wherever, and most people are quite happy for you to, because there such a bloody nuisance, so your Poll only really serves you lads back in the UK and Ireland,
  9. The two main commercial photo editing programs are Photoshop and Light Room , but as Kay has said there are free programs, Gimp is one that's worth looking at
  10. ok.... Ive written on this subject previously but i feel the need to write again. I am the huntsman of a registered pack of hounds in Canada, our hounds are cross bred hounds they're a mix of English hounds and American hounds and are bred with the climate and hunting area in mind, over here the registered packs have 3 main types of hounds English, American, and Crossbred, which are a mixture of the former two, so i totally understand the breeding for your purpose etc etc ... but then we are breeding hound to hound, you're going to get a pretty known entity when you cross a hound with a hou
  11. Doesn't matter how good the dog is he could get injured tomorrow, or worse still could be dead in his bed !!! its also a reality that your mate's dog could mysteriously disapear into thin air then whats he left with ????? put the dog over a good related bitch if he has or knows of one , and sell the dog, its a no brainer, ten grand could buy alot of shit !!!!
  12. Good attitude to have, being a huntsman myself i know that very few hunts have spare cash floating around nowadays , unless you go and ask the DoB or Heythrop, even the big lads haven't got the money they used to have, i have a couple of young lads that help me when they can , they come cos they want to , but i try to see them right from my own pocket, they're keen and becoming quite useful , so i like to keep them that way, if it costs me a 20 here and 20 there its worth it in m opinion
  13. If he's an Anti he's barking up the wrong tree , on account of SCDH are a drag hunt !!!!!

  16. I have to repectfully disagree with you on a couple of points , goundhogs , woodchucks call them what you want are not any kind of a challenge for a terrier , you'd be better off with a ferret !!!! pissing around with an animal thats running away and trying to suffacate your terrier in the bargain, been there done that, got the Tshirt , i'd rather not go out than piss around on groundhogs "Any dog that is up over 14" and 20lbs is only getting into coyote and bear dens around here for proper earth work and good luck to them." Maybe where you are , but there's plenty of places around here t
  17. I can't think that something that smells that bad when its alive is going to taste good when it's dead !!! I have tried Racoon and that tastes quite nice, although I wouldn't want to eat it 5 nights a week

  19. Because i work barns and earths I would expect that any stud dog i was going to use to be versatile, so if he was primarily an earth dog i would still hope that he could hold his own in a barn, likewise a primarily barn hunting terrier should at least be able to put up a decent show to ground even if thats not the terriers main way of hunting,
