  1. Then the whole of the first three pages would just be stickys with folk arguing the same shit everyday FOR DEFINITE. Just buy yourself a good book, and skim what you can from here.
  2. You could tell folk that they are just stacked plummers! Plummers for men.
  3. He's a credit to you mate. Almost looks like a plummer x staff due to the markings.

    steroids

No offense but there aint two ways about it. Taking steroids is pathetic.
  5. It's funny, as a group they know less about animals and the natural world than most others i have met. . . .
  6. My fave is the idea that shearing sheep is very cruel as they are tied down and muzzled as they have large pieces of their flesh and skin cut off and then get infected and die. But this is sick and should count as harrasment and intimidation - Many years ago some of us were in a York, England pub where hunters regularly gathered to brag. One day they were showing the usual photos of themselves with their kills. We knew two of them. One, Johnny, actually gave me a photo. They left other photos strewn around the bar, some pinned to the walls. My sister said "I wonder what Johnny's
  7. http://animalrightsdiscussion.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=5617 - Read this - it just shows how retarded they are!
  8. They are a bunch of muppets - they sell themselves as the 'Paramilitary wing of the Animal Kingdom'. I find it a bit ironic that they spout on about 'Unethical, over the top solutions to the worlds problems' (Meaning hunting foxes etc) when they think its ok to kidnap/hurt/threaten folk over shooting a deer / hutning a fox. To be fair their utter lack of brains and dogmatic fever is just a little bit scary. Half of their members are just looking for a cause to fight for, if they were about in 40's Germany they would be the first into the hitler youth, it dont matter what it is they just want t
  9. That has to be one of the most open ended questions you could ask. It's dependant on so many things, the water, it's type and location, the time of year and day, what is hatching, so many small variables. Some days one fly just seems to catch and others your swapping every half hour. My favourite for sport is either a team of buzzers or a single fly, great takes and usually a better quality of fish is your at a still water, than you would get with a lure.
  10. "The Paramilitary Wing Of The Animal Kingdom" Is their film meant to be some kind of threat?
  11. Springer and cocker mate, both work under the gun, and I beat through out the season with them. My lamping buddy's work commentments means he can't always get out and as I go 3-4 nights a week, it's about time I got my own bunny dog. In the past I've called upon friends for the odd night out and if I've ever needed owt digging, but I'm getting to the stage where I wouldnt mind a bash myself, I've all the permission I need to do it without upsetting anyone. That was my guess! Sounds like your in an ideal position to get a wee running dog then. I'm sure when the time comes you may
  12. Right so a group of hunters/pro hunters are kidnap and hunted down and killed by a group of antis? In a fake true story. I'd bet a large sum of money that the o.p is an anti and this 'true' story is intended to stir shit up whatever.
  13. Obviously done their research, how many folk shoot a stag in the head front on?
  14. Out of interest what other dogs do you have?
  15. If you took the raciest pup i can imagine it doing the job of being a decent enough mooching dog.
  16. Yes, its that mate, and also that if you continue this trend over the generations the percentage chance of deformities per litter rises. As you are compounding the problem. Silver to silver can be done, with clever outcrossing to diff colors. But why would it be important to breed whole litters of silvers other than the possible price tag? Even someone breeding cos of personal preferance will be happy with the odd silver in the litter.
  17. Aye but he knows enough to know silver ferrets are worth more (for some reason!) I wouldn't breed a silver x silver as this can lead to genetic problems, i would also (personally) not use a BEW, although i have not tried or seen this tried there is a lot to suggest that a bew and a silver are basicly the same thing. So as a result i would stick any (the best) hob over her, some kits will be silver and some wont, so if you like silvers there will be one for you to keep back, and the rest of the litter not being silver aint a problem unless you were planning to sell them all for more mone
  18. That would be illegal of them. Just coming to your house and taking your dogs with no proof. But lets face it this was brought down by some amongst us. Lurcher folk are hated and a lot of that can be pinned on folk with lurchers.
  19. Its the nature of the 'working dog show' or in fact any show, birds, cheep, flowers, cakes - it's bollocks. What did you expect? It's life but what gets on my tits is just the way that you always get those folk (usually female) who genuinly think that they have a 'working dog' because of its breed And they act non-plussed when you say 'well. . . . it shouldn't really be here should it . . ' . But then define worker. . . .
  20. just out of interest, as a 3/4 whippet owner with a lot of experience of whippets, how does the 3/4 compare to the whippets in terms of pace/turning/strike etc. Are they no where near as good or do they get pretty close? Would you get another one after yours passes away or will you go back to whippets? just thinking you might be a good person to give a true opinion on how good the cross is compared to the pure whippet. id have another one i a heart beat mate if i could find a good beddy to use i think u lose abit of pace from the beddy but thats more than made up by the extra bit of fir

  24. Not any more mate!

  25. i reckon you would piss yer pants first but thats a good one not sure what it means though Beats me sweetheart, the old boy was like the riddler sometimes!! I think maybe he meant, you can't do the impossible with the impossible, it can't happen cos it can't happen if that makes sense.
