    I will sort it out so I can put a heat lamp in if needed Got electricity in the garage anyway. Cheers Desmond Yer drainage is key, I know that. I'll put a concrete standing in, with runaway and drainage built in, out to a soak away. and will have sleeping boxes so they can open into the garage and be swept out easy I was wondering about a solid roof on the run, but didn't know if maybe getting sun on their backs might be good. . . . but then I suppose we don't have much sun here

    How much insulation do you think they will need? The sleeping compartments will be inside a block (i guess) built garage?

    Took a couple of photos in the garden a while ago when it was sunny, just a little bit of it, with a few of the raised beds and a couple of the chooks.

    I'm in the process of designing some more kennels to build. The plan is to build three runs, about 1m wide, by six foot deep, with removable internal mesh panels so they can be made into one big run, or two runs. The outer bars will be solid, and put on a concrete standing, with drainage and soak away. The run will be build onto a garage, with the sleeping boxes inside the garage, made out of ply, with lift able lids and doors. Will be able to shut dogs in sleeping boxes with shutter from run. Oh yer and the run will have a mesh roof. Anything i'm missing, or any tips or suggestions or han

    I'd love to see some photos of and hear about any beagle x cockers that are out there. If all goes to plan. . . in a good few years i'm thinking I might breed some. Well. . . . with a twist. Out of these two. . . . Crap photo of the cocker, but he's only 4 month and impossible to keep still.

    have to agree with you there but to keep the permission what can you do , apart from telling him youve done it and not do it . some old posh nobs have some funny ideas . they see a few young bunnies grazing in the day time as they do this time of year and think they have an epidemic on their hands . i like to keep small places like this one for a few mornings ferreting come the winter , so have to show willing when i get a call . SHooting them is fine mate, its dropping the mixi that is just plain wrong. And actually illegal.
