  1. I would like to bone Britney Spears dont think that's happening either
  2. Personally I think sub 12 rifles should be left as they are, generation upon generation of lads, including myself, and I suspect most on here, started shooting in back gardens, with meteors, mercury's,etc, and never did any real harm to anyone, so what if your modern pcp produces 3 or 4 ftlbs more energy, its hardly a lot in the scheme of things, lets face it,anyone can also go and buy a catapult, firing lead balls at around 20+ftlbs or a crossbow firing a bolt that would probably penetrate your chest up to its flights, I know which I would rather be shot with, a 12ftlbs air rifle or a 170lb draw
  3. If you want to start shooting 75 grain bullets mate buy a .243 not a .22 cf, you really are defeating the object of a .22 cf in my opinion.
  4. Spot on, let us know what he thinks, I bet it would be interesting in .25 calibre
  5. http://www.aceros-de-hispania.com/cometa-airguns/pack1-cometa-orion.asp?product=pack1-cometa-orion Take a look at one of these if you fancy something Spanish, and quality, I have the Lynx v10, and it is superbly accurate, their barrels are first class.
  6. Cowardly scum, hope they pick on the wrong(or right) ones soon and get put in a box.
  7. CZ 511 if you can find a nice used one or a CZ 512 new or used, my 511 is stunningly, and I mean stunningly accurate with Eley subs, almost one hole groups at 50 yards, and it cycles faultlessly, if its a semi you want and dont want to spend loads on a 10/22 modifying it, CZ is the way to go mate, unless you dont mind shelling out then a rimfire migic custom 10/22 are an awesome bit of kit, but not cheap.
  8. .22 just use rice paper, .177 rock cake mate.
  9. Click the link mate, or even better click the link Coypu put up
  10. Its not so much the kit, although spring guides, top hats, etc do help, but tuning is so much more than simply dropping a kit in,I have tuned a few Weihrauchs lately, and all the new ones suffer from, swarf in the comp chamber, badly finished springs, swarf stuck in the piston seal, and lots of rough sharp edges, so all these issues need to be addressed, as well as polishing, and re-lubing,when all this is done, you have a very nice rifle, but if you buy a Walther lgu, none of this will need doing,it will be uber smooth super quiet for a spring gun, and super accurate,I just bought the lgv break barr
  11. .177 - for those that struggle with hold over & under........... .22 for those that need to compensate for size in other areas
  12. If you must have an underlever, and dont want the hassle of tuning, buy a Walther lgu mate in .177, it blows either of them out of the box away, quite simply in a different league
  13. I think for that price I am going to get one, looks like good fun.
  14. http://sheffieldairrifles.co.uk/smk-victory-cp1m-single-multi-shot-co2-pistol-22-calibre-p-73397.html I would reckon one of these would fit the bill superbly, only heard good reports on these, and very close to legal limit power, single or multi shot, .177 or.22.
  15. As a general rule .223 produces around 1300ftlbs energy, .22-250 around 1700ftlbs obviously re-loading with different projectiles will produce slightly different results, but the .22-250 is more powerful than .223 and of course they both fire the exact same .224 bullets, the .22-250 rather faster than .223 hence the increase in muzzle energy.
  16. Try a different scope mate, pound to a penny its that.
  17. If you can find a good used Sheridan pistol in .177 .20 or .22, they are excellent, about 5.5 ftlbs and will kill small game at 10-15 yards very cleanly, the Crosman ratbuster is not bad either similar power, but not the same build quality, however with £150 to spend you should be able to get a new one and buy some trick bits to improve it.
  18. I shoot grain Sierra blitz in mine,re-loads I have to say, out to 300yards it really is very very flat, basically, as you say point and shoot,58 grain Hornady v-max are a cracking round, very fast, very flat, and very explosive, you wont go wrong with a .243 mate, and ammo is available virtually everywhere.
  19. Leave it alone, and just check it regularly, it is under 12 and probably wont creep over, just keep an eye on it.
  20. As said both will do the job, however if longer range shots are the norm,I would lean towards .22-250 or dependant on what your ground is passed for, consider a .243, with a light bullet, it will shoot flatter than both and have more power, and if you decide to shoot deer at some point,.243 is all species deer legal.
  21. They are but you will have to bid on ebay now mate I am afraid, cheers.
