  1. I had a go last year with a Theoben eliminator, gas ram, I have to say I was well impressed with it, first few shots and I was blatting bottle tops at 40 odd yards, I nearly bought it, it was stunning, and I could have had it for next to nowt, but in the end I could not be arsed with the hassle of putting it on my ticket.
  2. Totally agree with the above post, would just like to add Walther lgv/lgu to the names list, the lgv is in my opinion the best spring rifle on the market.
  3. They are only copper washed mate, lead with a copper wash, the only way to ensure the none lead wishes of the farmer is to use something like Prometheus or whatever they are called nowadays.
  4. Now sold many thanks Rich, you will enjoy
  5. I love my sbs and one day would love a 3" magnum hammer gun for fowling, but with steel being considerably cheaper than Tungsten,Heavy shot etc, a 3 shot auto is a damn good choice,as a tool they are brilliant, but they will never have the soul almost of a nice sbs that has seen many dawns and sunsets on the marsh.
  6. Still for sale, price dropped to £400 and thats it, absolute bargain.
  7. Benelli,m1 26" barrels imp cylinder choke, no3 or 4 magnum steel, no3 tungsten matrix, heavy shot now and again, looking forward to trying Eley lightning steel.
  8. I would be interested to hear what you think of it when you get one please.
  9. I have both, and have had some real nice tuned spring rifles, but this Walther lgv I recently bought is quite simply the best spring rifle I have ever seen or used, it really is awesome, have a try with one, you wont need a pcp after that.
  10. Dont worry CC Ive not forgotten the offer from when we met Well anytime bud, come over and we can go out on the bunnies, and I will bring the rifle and see if Charles fox wants to play
  11. That an offer to do a .177 vid there cc? Like to see the poi aiming dead on at those ranges, outside real circumstances type, you know not all inside and edited stuff... Yes perhaps, I could then add a quick snippet of .22 rimfire at the same range, might be food for thought actually that
  12. He wont do a .177 version, he knows it would put the rest to shame
  13. Rifle still for sale in case there was any confusion
  14. Yes not a bad little vid there dude, if you fancy a bit more long range practice, come over and have a go with the .243 at some eggs @ 300 yards, that'l sharpen you up lad
  15. I like that very much mate, improved the look no end in my opinion.
  16. Try shooting an Elephant with expanding ammo, or a Cape Buffalo, then just before it tramples you to death, you will wish you had used that solid .416 ammo you were advised to use
  17. So Dave clear this up, does your certificate not say something along the lines of.......vermin and ground game, and for zeroing on ranges? i know mine does.
  18. It is mate,as said a proper vermin tool, reluctant to sell it, but if it goes to somebody who will get full use from it, Im happy, hence the bargain price.
  19. Thankyou sir, and BN no problem lad, these things happen
