me and a mate of here went for a shine but the odds where against us very still no wind at all ...the bunnies where out but we had to work pretty hard to get near them. alot of long slips were needed .....there wasnt a cloud in the sky and it was fairly light to with all the stars ....anyways we had a decent night ....the saluki x on the left of the pic has just come back from a serious tendon injury shes been of for four months so the lad took it steady with her ....she ran well and to the lads delight she held up well no sign of lamness ....we was going for forty tonight as the dogs need to

the weather seems to play a big part on the number of rabbits out we i go but a good percentage seem to be out about an hour after its dark.....if for instance it been shity weather all day and you get a couple of dry hours later on in the night there seems to be more out .....tonight looks perfect ...its been fine and bright all day there insant a cloud in the sky and not a drop of wind ...... cant beat a challange.....

am only saying what 99% of the chaps on hear are thinking ..iam just the only one with the balls to say it......oh and forgot to add ...if the women want to show the lurchers then thats another side of lurchers they can be involved in.......

women should stay at home ...they shouldnt be out killing things ...they should do women things ....like finding little injured animals and trying to sort them out ....not gutting rabbits and pretending to be hunters.....it just aint right ......ok riding horses in a hunt yes ....but hunting with lurchers and dogs ...naaaaa.....when you get home and the dogs took a knock or got a tear of some barbed wire ..then thats when a women should become involed with lurchers ....fixing them up.......

good stuff tomo and asd and hh .decent bag fellas.......i was out the other night and the battery went fooked after 3/4 of an hour we got 19 .....perfect night toooooo.i was sick .......so ive just invested in a lithium battery ...wwhooooooooooooooooooooooooo..150 quid though ....but fook it .....ha haha ...............seems a good peice of kit though .....nice and light ......hope it does what it says on the tin......

lets be honest ..why would anybody want to wear cammo or realtree...cracks me up when i go to the odd show and folk are walking up and down in there realtree outfits....do they really think it makes a diffrence when there out lamping ..pmsl.....or even daywalking ..lololol...maybe the shooting lads have an excuse for wearing it if they are deerstalking ect ect .....but dog lads ....hahaha come on ..we can see you...

this is my bitza ....theres saluki grey bull whippet ridgeback and collie in him.... he will be four in janurary...and has been a good freezer filler since his first season....if i was to say which was his best atribute i would say he got heart ..real heart ....

what i want to know is did you ever finish the ferret cage doxy .....you know that one behind you in the pic the old side board.... thats wor lasses new sideboard, had just got it delivered, thought I would show it off behing the dogs you spoil her doxy .....no wonder she lets you out all the time with the camera ... ...right sorry taff ...spoiling the thread ...back to it .....rough dogs.......

ive got some tay muckboots they are waterproof and very warm ,,,,,infact to warm for this time of year .....deffo a winter welly .......my are comfy but like i say unless its cold out there i dont wear em......
