  1. Yes sorry, you are correct. There is a difference. Extra kill bar at least. So these extras make the standard tube trap illegal in the UK. So I'm thinking maybe the changes in design of the Koro may result in the new Koro being illegal also. Just throwing this out there for the more knowledgeable folk on here.
  2. One of my least favourite traps to be honest. It's fidgety, and then there was that major fault. By that top picture, it seems the trigger will no longer shoot out into the animals face. Would that be correct? If so, that is a major plus for sure. But with a new design. Does this mean the new koro would be deemed illegal to use in the UK? Would it have to be re-tested and re-passed? WCS have a new tube trap out. The WCS Tube Trap Mini, which wouldn't be legal to use in the UK. If the new Koro is re-named, would that make it a new design?
  3. Do you bother much with traps now micky since you can no longer use the good ones?
  4. To think these uneducated degenerates are being backed up by the majority, and destroying country life. They are as far away from nature as you can get.
  5. I remember my father telling me years ago, a pal of his was out after pheasants when his two setters happened upon an otter in a drain. All hell broke loose, and when it was over, both dogs were left with broken legs.
  6. Whatever about a pup of 12 months or so, but bringing pups six or seven months old is silly imo.
  7. Why would anyone be bringing a young pup to a dig in the first place
  8. Front feet print often don't show the fifth toe
  9. Just to show size comparison between mink and otter. Note: this particular otter print is overlapped somewhat
  10. Prints are dots on my phone lol. You really need to take close ups of prints and put something beside them for size comparison. More than likely they were indeed otter. Loads of them over here. See a couple each year fishing or trapping.
  11. Yea I hear ya, and not trying to knock ya lad. Was just pointing out why most won't chance being associated with someone they don't know and therefore don't trust. It's hard for anyone new to the game for sure, but there are reasons why lads with good breeding don't get involved with people they don't know. Anyway, hope you succeed in your endeavour?
  12. That may well be true, but when it comes to strangers, you have no way of knowing if a lad is sound or not. That is why a many keep their dogs in tight circles.
  13. Yes, plus the fact that he's a blind stranger to most. A man would like to know where his pup is going. That the pup would be given the best chance to make the grade, and also that it won't get moved on for money, or any other reason.
  14. Be soon covered up with a dozen or more fanny lickers that appear regular on here
  15. That's all well and good, but can she say "SAUSAGES"
  16. I've made a couple if wall hangers a couple of years back. Wish i had more spare time on my hands. Love to try make something out of pelts. Lots of stuff on YouTube showing how to make hats etc
  17. I've had plenty in little drains, with no fish apart from stickleback and minnow in them. Lots of frogs, waterhen and rats that they'll feed on too.
  18. I've seen one on this particular river about five years ago, and I've trapped a lot on it over the years. Means nothing lad. There will be mink on any river unless it's heavily trapped. Stick down a couple of traps especially if your passing the river every day?
