  1. Very nice Myersbrg. Some of those are American traps. How big were your suitcases? ?
  2. Well seamingly more pictures on the way. If so, aint stuffed
  3. If there is an overpopulation of any species which are having a negative affect on an environment, then that species needs to be managed. The fact that they can live for a couple of hundred years shouldn't be s factor. In fact, it should give more reason to manage numbers. Even in parts of Africa, elephant numbers need to be managed where numbers are high, due to them eating everything. The fact that they have a long lifespan, makes that an even bigger problem.
  4. Wolfdog, I suppose it's human nature to stick with what you know. What seems a strange or flawed concept to you, might seem ideal to us, and vise versa. I do like your tealer. It would certainly work here for fox. I think you guy's tend to go more heavy duty on your gear than we do, with good reason of course. You have a lot of bigger stuff that can be snared, than we can here. We have a lot of restrictions, and so for us, fox's are as big as it gets. Also, we do a lot of our snaring/trapping on foot, so keeping things as light as possible is a must. Here is a YouTube video showin
  5. Wolfdog91 Don't get confused here. The brass wire is only used for rabbit snaring. I know rabbit snaring is done different over there. Do you even have rabbits in your area? Here is an old thread which shows two types of fox tealers which are used here. A more traditional type, and the ghost snare concept. https://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/316790-fox-snares-anyone-selling/#comments
  6. This dog was badly undershot as a pup. Improved somewhat as he matured
  7. If that were a real sighting. There would be more than one picture taken
  8. Yes as said boarding is just for drying out the pelts till end of season or till they have enough skins to sell. There is no easy method to tanning hides. It takes work, time, and timing, to do them properly. I got a video on eBay a few years ago, showing in detail some tanning methods. Think it was by Johnny Thorp if I remember correctly.
  9. Was just gonna say, juvenile roe
  10. Unless you have a propper set up lad, you'd be better off with a pup. Anything else could be a headache to have around
