  1. I have to design a website for one of my computing degrees assessments and am in need of a forgotten password script that sends the users password to their email address. All the scripts l have found on Google have all been problematic to the script creator or don't work. So since the Hunting Life seems to have around 30,000 members surely one of us (bar me) knows something about web developing scripts. My website can be seen at http://cmacleod.comp-degree.uhi.ac.uk/ and bear in mind it is a work in progress so there are a few small things to sort out but l have to get the websites design

    survival

I remember watching it a few times till l watched this video purporting that the man was a fake. Supposedly his own camera crew have said that in one of his programmes when he was supposedly sleeping in the jungle that once the camera was off he stayed the night in a hotel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UpSlpvb1is cheers Callum
  4. I thought it was a cracker and it kinda makes you squirm thinking bout when l was a nipper and used to be in some of them situations bar the I lost my mummy situation! Wish I'd though of that at the local swimming pool when l was a lad, don't think it would work now as I'm too old! cheers Callum

Not when you think about the server / servers it takes to run the site plus all of the data that has to be stored on storage drives. It all has to go somewhere mate and the more people that join (I read somewhere its at 25,000+ now) the higher the spec of hardware you need to handle it all and believe you me that ain't cheap! cheers Callum
  6. After reading about your lack of prospects on the dating front in the Dating topic I thought I'd help you out! So heres some tips from an eight year old! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwFXdnHfX7I&feature=related cheers Callum
  7. If your only doing it for a wee while l would personally leave as as it is usually more of a pain than it is worth to set-up, but if its a spare router/hub you have that you want to set-up make sure to switch on the router/hub that you are going to be replacing it with (ie your BT newish home hub thingy) and you should see a hole at the back of it to reset it. You can normally do this using a pencil tip an all you do is press and hold the pencil in to the hole for a few seconds until you see all the buttons flashing. This will reset the hub/router back to all of its default settings. Connect
  8. Just watched half of this and one point l would like to make is about the woman who made the doc being a hypocrite! The commentator says in the 38th minute in a tearful voice as if she was feeling threatened, "as we followed the activities (ie, the hunt) we felt as if we were being followed. We moved on and whenever we stopped the green 4x4 (of the hunt overseer) also stopped. So its OK for them to follow the hunt but not for representatives of the hunt to follow them!
  9. We may all be on to something here, Maybe we should all get together and get in touch with Spielberg to sort out a script and plot??? Could be worth millions!!!! Hmmm we could call it "The Dirty Dozen-The Hunting Life" or "The Dirty Dozen-Behind Anti Lines"? Trouble is just who are going to be the "Dirty Dozen"?

  12. Best place to buy land at the moment is in Bulgaria. Its a snip at 2 euro/sq m in some places. I was looking at 6 miles sq of lovely forested land in the middle of the country last year for about £3000! Its a really lovely untouched country out in the sticks and has a wide variety of animals that can be hunted with the correct licenses. Although it does take some hunting to find land at these prices on the internet a good deal can be found. cheers Callum
  13. That rabbit would make the perfect dinner for 2 and fresh too! cheers Callum

    joke

Man walks into a gun shop to buy a new telescopic sight for his rifle, salesman shows him a telescopic sight on special deal and says you can see my house from here. The man looks through the telescopic sights and starts grinning to which the salesman annoyed ask him what he is grinning at. The man explains how he can see a man and a woman at it in the kitchen of the salesman's house so the salesman grabs the telescopic sight of the man and looks through the telescopic sight himself and sure enough he can see his wife at it with his next door neighbour. The salesman hands the man 2 bullet
  15. Its true about trapping being the best as there has been a major trapping scheme going on in the Western Isles of Scotland for the past few years that has nearly completely eradicated the mink here to protect the ground nesting birds the Western Isles is well known for. I'm not sure if it was from here that the mink were first released in the 50's as its well known that there was a mink farm here that released all of its captive mink when the fur trade went for a burton. cheers Callum
  16. Thanks for the replies guys! Very informative. So l guess if l did get something in range it would be quiet safe to shoot without a backstop as long as there are no houses or roads in the line the shot is to be taken in as l know the bb's still have to land somewhere cheers Callum
  17. I was looking into them awhile ago myself. I found this topic on the optics forum a wealth of information My link Hope this helps cheers Callum
  18. Thanks for the replies I just wasn't too sure if the bb's inside the shot would travel that far as they are not shaped as well as a bullet is for wind resistance nor are the bb's as heavy as a bullet is. I did notice on the ballistics chart on the cci website My link that the muzzle velocity is 1000ft/sec but no more data was available at other ranges. This was why l asked weather or not it would be safe enough to shoot upwards as l got some with my rimmy but never used them. cheers Callum
  19. I have some shotshell ammo at home for my .22 long rifle but l have wondered would it be safe or not to fire at birds in trees or say birds flying overhead as l know this is a no no with normal bullets but wouldn't the shot dissipate faster, lose its speed and be affected by the wind more? What do you guys reckon? cheers Callum
  20. I have only been reloading myself for two months and have so far tried Hogdgens Varget and Accuracy 2230. According to my ballistics table which l got with my Lee dies the starting load of 25 grains of H-Varget together with 40 grain V-Max bullets produces 3674 fps. This is what I used to begin with but as H-Varget is so hard to get hold of my RFD suggested to use Accuracy 2230 when the H-Varget ran out, which was designed with the smaller calibre in mind. With the accuracy 2230 l use 24.7 grains of powder with 40 grain V-Max bullets produces 3639 fps. as far as l was aware the max bullet we
  21. maybe, i notice lite off, then on ! But still i laff talk english clint, everyone knows now you talk bollox. I would like to state, constituency speaking as it were, without been too diverse or deviant, the coheirs of the matter been in equilibrium to the static force, been in conjunction to the parallel situation, to which we speak. Your trying to say, quite hypothetically i may constitute, that i consider as a helpful gesture forward another figure in society, that i may be speaking in an alien dialect , not antiquating that am i correct in presuming , you are trying to influenc
  22. Can't believe this hasn't been mentioned before (unless l missed it) but how about when your stuff has been moved around by the other half and they either deny it or can't remember moving it or were they put said stuff!
