But in all honestly that is one h3ll of a big area for one station to cover and it being in Aberdeen its on the wrong side of Scotland as well.     I myself like many other people I'm sure enjoy sea fishing around the coast of Scotland and so the fact that the proposed closures of the stations that cover the North and West side of Scotland is very unwelcome and all to save money. When l look at a map of all the coastguard centres in Britain I just don't get why they would leave such a large geographical area uncovered. Anyone else worry about this or is it just me? cheers Callum

    When the volcano from Iceland erupted we even had a Gyr Falcon on the island, it only went and followed the geese up here. Don't know if it is still here as nobody talks about it any more. Its just the first sighting people talk about, take a photo as proof and then it goes quiet. Would be amazing to see it though if it is still up here.     I had a mate who came up to my house to play with my games console when suddenly my memory card went missing. Under the pretence of helping me find my memory card he stole 3 £20 games of me and said that he had to go urgently. On the plus side he forgot his own £60 game which he had forgotten in his haste. He threatened to phone the cops on me to which l replied go for it and so his little ploy was countered. The downside was we had known each other all our lives, grew up together and had the same friends. Also 2 of the games he had stolen were mates that l had swapped my games with. He even
