Tommy Robinson How Is He Viewed In Britain At The Moment
Nik_B replied to stonewall's topic in General Talk
Without the EDL the investigations in to the grooming gangs may not have happened nor tackling other issues, they might be unpalatable to some but they caused the government such a headache they took action. Did you know the BNP were amongst the first to highlight the grooming issue years and years ago, they tried to go the political route, caused no trouble and got absolutely nowhere. -
Must have taken balls of steel to have done something like that

If you could only look at one thread Would it be Green Lurchers food porn or Kanny's Rocket Stove?

He was reporting on yet another rape gang involving 29 of them, he is banned from talking about it as part of his bail restrictions

Spot on Nik....boom and bust.Boils my piss when Corbyn and his conies bang on about austerity and the Tories "cuts",Theres a reason they had to be made, the poison chalice handed down from Brown/Blair,I don't know how they've the nerve to bring austerity measures up....if I were a labour MP Id avoid the words like the plague.... Yeh I totally agree, Brown was never going to win he didn't have the charisma, it probably was planned and maybe some of his gaffs were? I have a feeling passing the baton back and forth to each other is like some kind of sport

He would put taxes up on the middle class and wealthy, start borrowing like any normal socialist and we'd be bankrupt within 5 years. I think Corbyn is leader so Labour DOESN'T accidentally get back into power....why would they want to fix their own mess?

I think there is an argument for subsidised industry at least but that would require some protectionism and tarrifs on imports to make it work. If there was some kind of WW3 we would be in way more sh*t that in the first two wars since we don't have the strategic reserves of energy and minerals and surely that should be taken in to account. I also think that if you weigh(ed?) up the financial and social costs of unemployed people including the knock on effects down future generations nationalised or part nationalised industries may have looked less of a problem. We definitely can't

Today it's two different games. We see right and wrong. They see win and lose. A fair point Chris but what is the incentive for them to do what is right? Which politician would win out of one with a sensible 20 year plan or the one who promises free cash for all and to hell with the future....what do they say again? people get the government they deserve. I would like to see laws in place to prevent over spending/borrowing in the bad times and force them to put money in to a war chest during the good

We lived down the road near Portreath when I was at the Camborne school of mines, some spectacular countryside and history I will have to go back for a visit one of these days

WILF I am glad that I will not be holding much in debt at the end of this year, in the mean time I am going to try and save what I can, the oil industry is especially sensitive to economic changes. At least if I am wrong I will have more cash in the bank lol I reckon we'll see the beginning of a US recession by the end of 2017, it doesn't mean it will turn in to a global recession or crisis but there is every chance it could and the main victims will be the Europeans especially the Germans & followed by the Russians and Chinese. The UK should fair well because capital flight would send

An economic collapse would cause something like that for sure, people would be wishing they had someone 'moderate' like Le Pen if things do get bad. It all comes down to one thing, will the Euro survive the next recession or will it cause chaos. I don't think the European banks have learned from their lessons yet unlike the American banks which have been through crisis after crisis. I think that some of the PIGS are going to have to leave the Euro especially Greece which are in a very powerful position, if I owe you £100 that's my problem if I owe you billions that's your problem. Greece w

I think that eventually in some European countries politics and democracy will fail, nothing is impossible including some kind of civil unrest leading to civil war or even military coups. Today that seems unlikely but every time they vote in people who keep bring more pain & unemployment, mass 3rd world immigration and terrorism they just go further down the rabbit hole. It all comes down to how people think the demographic changes will play out, when white native people get even closer to becoming minorities in some European countries and what is that going to be like? Or will they pu

I'm 44 so when I was a kid it was the likes of Foot and Kinnock leading the Labour party When I say nationalist I mean putting this country and the people who live there first, I think that isn't a bad thing. P.S I am being practical, I do agree with smaller government etc and I think benefits can hurt people but it is an absolute waste of time trying to sell that to people

You have got to laugh at this, 2nd paragraph

Very good BGD When I was a kid I was a Guardian reading leftie, I even voted for Bliar much as it pains me to admit. I'm not sure if I even voted for anyone when he was elected for his second term, but I discovered UKIP and dabbled with all kind of ideas, Farage was a Libertarian as was Bloom and I listened to what they said and quite agreed with their principles but I didn't vote UKIP for libertarianism and UKIP stopped being libertarian when they geared up for a serious stab at gaining MPs. At the end of the day libertarianism is a nice idea but it is not going to work in the world

Socialists and communists rarely if ever improve the economy or create jobs.
