  2. The pasties were from a few miles from me in Devon, the scrumpy was from Somerset.......but...... I bloody love Cornwall... The north coast especially... We were at friends for roast in a small place called Port Wrinkle last Sunday, they live 2 doors down from the village pub and 2 minutes walk from the beach, don't get much better..... My veiled attempt at an independence piss take has turned into a Cornish love in, I tell the kids all the time we're lucky where we live.... Not in but very close to Cornwall lol We love Devon to
  3. Where are they from? they sounds like they're more from this way
  4. Think it's a village south of Newcastle Emlyn
  5. They have a football team then?
  6. OK here is my experience and I don't really shoot rifles anymore. I was a member of an indoor range that had a limit on the velocity that could be used i.e. it was .22 LR RF and then pistol caliber rifle ammo i.e. cowboy stuff like .44 etc. They did have a small number of people that would arrange outings to the RAF Sealand range and because of that you then have good reason to apply for fairly high caliber/velocity rifles such as 7.92 and .303 which a few of the guys had. You should look in to something like that, or like you mentioned Bisley etc because you just need a reason and
  7. I'd shag the rip in a fur coat
  8. 99% of my photos of when I was down there are of either rocks or engine houses . The history is brilliant especially the mining history.
  9. I snapped my dads rod on one of those cliffs......took him a few years for him to forgive me
  10. You must be in a rifle club then so if you've got a range that allows the large calibers you could surely use that as good reason?
  11. Ha ha you have to love google maps, here's the house we lived in
  12. I loved it personally and would have stayed but the wifey wasn't keen on moving down We lived in a place called Bridge...probably named because it had one and not much else
  13. Are you f**king kidding me? oh my god!!!! That is hysterical
  14. I do have clay cartridges but after opening them up they're not made of clay so they'll be going back to the gun shop. Actually had a call from one of the land owners off here, he's been having terrible urgent problems which I offered to sort out pronto....should get round to him in the next week or so. Not quite in the mood for getting dirty and it was raining today plus there was a really good program on the telly.
  15. Nixons in Handforth/Heald Green http://www.nixonsfarmshopcheshire.co.uk/ Was £5 for 5 Kg so I'm not sure if it's cheap or expensive but they're pretty trustworthy. I think this is actually going to work out cheaper than the dry food as well
  16. Brilliant but don't forget muslims and UKIP!!
  17. some of the comments on there are mad I don't think they live in the real world Of course they don't their food comes out of magical packets...totally humane. The vegis amongst them are so thick and don't realize more animals die to protect the crops than the livestock
  18. LOL watch this one she sounds like she's having sex
  19. Thanks guys I see why socks was so surprised. I just gave my dog 1/2 a KG of the minced beef I got from the farm shop padded out with a little pasta, it's miles bigger than the 1 KG of finely ground mince I got from the shop and it's taking him a while to get through it as well. looks like this whole raw food diet is nowhere near the pain in the arse I thought it would be. Only thing I need to remember is to get it out to thaw in advance, mind you he'll happily eat bones straight from the freezer.
