I have known David for quite some time,but i know Steve better,They are both very very good Terriermen,and Dave's mag is what it is!It's like a tin of beans,it says beans on the tin and thats what's in it!EDRD is just that,im not so keen on his books lack a bit substance for me,but i don't expect every one to agree with me on that one,Seems to me there are far too many people willing to slate someone at the drop of a hat,thats what gets me about our sport,in this day and age we should really stick together. David Harcombe is a proper digging man-fact...if you dont like EDRD simple dont subscribe...this man fights for our sport at 73 hes still has passionate as ever,something we can only applaud the man for!As for some of the remarks regarding DH's digging pals how many of us wish it was us?Jealousy will get you nowhere...grow up lads JB

must be very reassuring for you to know that your bird is in good hands,i myself never really been into falconry but young liam's thread would be the first i went to.As i said in an earlier thread it must be such a lift to know your sport will never die with the likes off liam involved

used to dig all the time without a locator,fine in shallow earths.in big earths it was always trenching time...always used bayers though so that made it easier,bet its tricky with a silent dog :search:

As somebody who's never been into falconry,let me just say that this thread was probably one of the most interesting i've read! I'm a dog man myself but this thread would be the first one i would look for,Liam your a credit to your sport and i for one commend you on your dedication and drive.Your dad must be so proud of you,please dont let this setback dull your enthusiasum,keep your chin up young fella.Hope your new bird brings you the pleasure that you deserve,look forward to reading his/her progress.RIP Stella!!atb JB
