    just looked over this ferret again now and found another lump,this one is underneath his front leg...i know what i wud've done with him but he's my missus's so i'm going to be looking at a vet bill JB

    no its not all about catching things your dog wont be able to handle ,it will be about testing you and your dogs for stamina, guts ,and the way they work the light ,they wont have a patch on my or my mates dog ,so hurry up down and then you will see .its a pity you was not here the night before last you would have seen a 11month old dog retreve a fully grown fox in the dark and jump a 5 bare gate with it in his mouth ,like i say whin these dogs are not your normal run of the mill .and i cant put on here what he stoped in its track just before single handed ,but because it was so big the pe

    Perhaps............but unlike some, I don't take pride in broadcasting it Sorry you don't agree, but I loathe poachers with a vengeance. They've absolutely no right to be where they are, no right to be taking property that doesn't belong to them, and have the stupidity & contempt for the law to attempt to glorify their actions. As far as ferreting at night's concerned? I really don't see the point. If you need to control rabbits, and have the permissions & necessary tools, then there are far better ways of doing it.     I've got a ferret here(hob)that as a lump on his stomach,its about the size of a large marble.it dosent seem to be painful for him at the moment,its like he's eaten a gobstopper.any help appreciated...thanks JB

    Personally i have never found hunt terriers game(In Ireland)They like yappy dogs that will bolt not kill.I once gave them a pup on the understanding he came back if not suited.A year later he was back to hard not suited.We used him for years after. i am with liam on this nombers dont impress me ,bolting type terriers we massive nombers dont mean you have a great proven dog on your hands,special proven dogs are about but its not the nombers game that makes a proven dog,a lot of these bolt type terriers can be shouted out ,a would say you would be a long time triyin shout a proper dog out from

    Age has nothing to do with being proven...some dogs just dont get the work others do,a terrier used by a hunt will probably be a proven dog way before a weekend warriors dog

    i had one about 20 years ago,wasnt anything it wouldnt do.If i had one negative would be that whenever the weather got really cold she just wasnt the same dog...one of the fastest things i ever owned though...atb JB
