Agreed it would've been a better idea to get 2 jills and 1 hob but as for two hobs fighting at 5 months and needing seperate cages, not in my experience. mine started ragging / wrestling at 5 1/2 to 6 months and ones back was a right mess, i meant separate cages eventually not at that age, and i agree with Ideation, occasionally hobs can be housed together but its rare in my experience. I've only ever had 2 hobs once, they were kept together for a couple of years and then one day they started off play fighting, then got rougher and rougher and rougher until they were basically knoc

  8. some ferrets will never take to a dog ive a silver jill here that hates dogs the first chance she gets shell be hanging of its nose and shes been brought up with them from a young kit

  11. you will get them out with good ferrets a longnet would be handy and a decent dog for mopping up any escapees
  12. use a vac hob i got my big hob done hes took my 4 jills out of season twice and took a member of this sites jills out aswell i think its the way forward if you keep a few ferrets and you dont want any kits
