I'm not talking about some wild dog rampaging round the countryside, I mean it you were just on a park or something and a rabbit pops up. Thousands of people walk their dogs off the leads around parks and countryside!! If your dog was 30 yards away from you and a rabbit it appeared next to it, you're telling me that you saying "no" would stop it chasing it??? YES! I agree. My lurcher stops dead in his tracks when I bark: 'LEAVE IT!!' at him, but my little bitch of a terrier just kind of slows down in the hope she can get far away enough from me to act deaf before I get to her
