  1. i have a norfolk x cracking little dog smart sod for his age only 14 15 months at mo good nose demon on the rats will run the lamp for rats at night will jump out of truck and hold rabbits when shot for me good little bush dog starting earth work this year had a few runs on empty pipes so not worried of going to ground always liked the lucas type dogs plenty of charicter and spirit about them. yis willum
  2. i have seen them tied in nov and dec of last year a mate of mine shot a pair at the end of dec and they were tied so their cubs would have been at least a couple of months at least
  3. ive still got my first gun avia 177 break barrel ive had it since i was 8 or 9 im now 30 still works well its been swapped for a bmx and bought back for a tener sold for 25 and given back to me i stripped the stock down and re stained and coated now being passed down to my younger brother to carry on the legend of my first gun all i can say is that i hope it brings him as much kluck as it has done me yis willum
  4. we had a dig about 3 weeks ago and the cubs where a week or more well developed and by the looks eyes were not far from opening so there is cubs about. and on the other hand out lamping couple of weeks ago and there was 2 tied in feild so they will be some late cubs if you work that out. atb willum
  5. me and a my best mate lamp together at leaast once a week we were out doing some bunny control i see a lump in the feild and it was a long tail about 40 45 yrds away took a shot at it with the rimmy 22 and missed me mate laughed his head off you missed a sitter lol i felt a bit of a dick so iwasnt going to let it beat me it was running away at a fair pace it took aim kept the gun moving aiming just on its nose about 75 yrds squeezed on the trigger there was a deep lump sound ant the longtail moved no more me mate couldnt beleiveit ive done this with rabbits aswell.
  6. me and one of my mates about 16 17 years ago were in a feild using one of my old webley tempest's he said look up crow coming over he said bet you cant shoot it i was like yeah watch this not expecting to hit woompff down came the crow never forgot that me and my mate were shocked as we couldnt beleive what i had just done.

  9. will be there too been for the last 3 4 years now sundays are a good day as a bargain or 2 are to be had its quite a large fair plenty to see and do take ya shotty if your a shooter got a clay shoot there. terrier and lurcher show compliments of the jrt club of east anglia. good food tents but plenty of same old hat shoe stick stands though.

  11. cheers for that mate its for lamping out the truck am looking into gen1+ scopes and using one of these filters to see if i can get a greater range on charly more than a hundred yrds

  13. hhhm a hard question but my answer would be i would nbever payt for pigeon shooting never had done never will as you are paying to shoot the pigeons plus the price of cartridges. and i would ask the farmer who gets the birds as you dont want to hand them over to because you would then be well out of pocket. best way i spose to the rounds put a few notes up in the local stores have a ask at ya local pubs thats what i did. but all the best to you mate keep looking and spreading the word good things come to those who wait so they say.

  17. i know they say mud does wanders for your skin ?? you could just see the pore lad going as he got closer to the rat it was going going gone man down chaps was chuffed with the pup didnt take long for her to switch on on her first time out.

  21. hi all throwing this one out there for any one in the know about striker 170 ir filters can any body shed any light excuse the pun on how far ie distance these filters throw a beam out to and are they any good ? do these make much difference to gen1 + nv scopes ? does this enable you to see further than 100mtrs? and would you say they are worth the hefty price tag that comes with them yis willum
  22. i use a wham whistle and it is deadly at the begining of the harvest through to winter they then seem to have other things on there mind but it will still bring them in on a dark and slightly windy night on occasions ive had to shout and clap hands to stop them running to close to me
  23. how do mate have got a pat x norfolk 18month old absolute nut on rats got his first dig season coming up no harm in trying hey. he is very determinded smart and clever loads of go in him aswell a little demon all in all
