she is still a young dog mate no harm in letting her have a look or a little go but if she was ready and willing cant see the harm in it mate aslong as she has got all her adult teeth through give a few months mate she's got the gist of things by the sounds of it just let her mature a little before trying again mate all good things come to those who waite took my dogs out at 5 months to have a run about and a look to see how things go then started them at about 7 months but nothing full on till they matured abit and could take a few nips and give a few back.good luck with her willum

i dont think it is a good idea to let ya digging dogs mark to rabbits as you could be out with a keeper dogs giving a positive mark let them in hear them baying away keeper looking on expecting a result then you dig and there you have mr rabbit in a stop end not a good impresion imo atb willum but im sure othrees will have there own view.

How loud is loud when it comes to centerfire!
willum replied to pandamonia's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
i have a 22.250 tikka t3 with t8 mod and me mate has a 17hmr there isnt much difference between the 2 if he has mod off and i have mod on but if i take mod off my rifle and put a round throught it whilst sitting in cab of truck or outside i can tell you now there is a great difference in noise level the sound and thump of it when squeazing a round off would say louder than my 12g for def -
soz for jacking thread a good rotty or shepard with out a doubt.
-
they scare me too they carry sticks and slingshots. soz mate me grandad had 3 german shepards and a fecking bad attituded chiuahah it wasnt the 3 shepards you had to worry about it was the little fecker that ruled the roost and would come ahead of the pack when that attacked you knew you was in trouble as the shepards would then join in if it didnt they didnt .

no he owns a building firm and has a large yard and a passion for the breed pal 3 guard the yard 1 does the house 1 guards the garden and 1 does the stable's. he bought a bitch so he could have a replacement for the old dog when he is gone but from what seemed like the old fella's legs could'nt keep him up so he bought a young dog to do the deeds but some how the old dog managed it and a year later so did the younger dog so kept 2 back then had a bitch returned thats how he has got so many. 15 st was what i was told mate all i knew he was huge and was a nasty fecker that chewed my truck tyres
-
sorry to hear pal never good and not nice no matter how old or young gut wrenching pal rip little fella

mine would be a good rotty a chap i know has 6 of them guarding his property and these are pure evil to strangers yet ive seen his children the youngest which is 6 go up get hold of the collar and walk it back to its pen. he had a dog that past away a couple of years ago that sired a litter the father to this litter was just over 15 stone but no fat on him and pure black. he kept 2 pup dogs back and both of these have had to have custom collars made as he cant get them big eough out fo shops. will try and get pics for ya . should be getting a bitch pup from 1 of these 2 sired litters. fo

me and most of my mates do alot of fox shooting but very rarely we shoot at anything over a hundred yrds but hey thats just us spoke to a few other lads on here and they say the same but cant vouch for every one though we do and have got fox's that wont come with in 3 to 4 hundred yrds of a lamp so these are not worth taking pot shots at mate this is what makes them lamp shy i think. where we shoot there is others on neighbouring land and if they miss and charley comes our way lamp on fox shows heels and is off even a quiet squeak and there gone.but i do and have shot well over 200 yrds at fox
-
takes quite a bit of the snap out of the shot mate but for best results use sub sonic cartridges with them makes alot of difference when pigeon shooting ast the noise is less and the birds dont seem as spooky.

type it in the search bar mate thread been going a while on here

i know you can get some cheapy 1s for about 150 quid but be ware they may go pop in about a year and parts you cant get for them prob best way to go is buy all from wholesailers prob 30 40 quid a camera 200 for dvr and get ya self a cheap tft monitor ie flatscreen again 40 quid or so but at least this way you have a come back and can change parts and add to it easily my advice would be to go for an 8 ch dvr not a four as you may find you could need 1 or 2 more in the future and if you got a 4 ch it would be useless and you would need to buy a new dvr again.

from what im aware of this you can carry your air gun to and from your permision aslong it is unloaded and secure in a sling . and the pellets are stored safely on you as ive been harrased by pc plod a few times when younger carrying my rifle to and from my permision just up the road from me. i always had a permision slip and the owners number on it. after afew encounters i phoned the local fire amrs officere up and he cleared it up for me. just give your local a ring or have a look on basc for the laws on this mate

22 hornet a good little fox gun very under appreciated in my opinion mate good for a 100 150 yrds and to be honest most will tell ya that most of ya fox shooting if there all honest will very rarely be over a hundred yrds mate and if its shap enough just get the barrel checked ie not shot out see if ya mate will let ya try the gun out for a zeroing session to see how ya get on and if the grouping is good with the rounfd being used you done wana buy ya self a duff gun. all the best good luck willum.
