  1. Mine told me I should get my bitch spayed at 4 months . Don't take anything a vet tells you as gospel, do your own research. Vets are there to make as much money as possible so they can retire early, simple as that.
  2. Hold it round the shoulders with the index finger and thumb round its neck so it can't turn round and bite the hand that's holding it, and with the other hand make a fist (so the skin is too tight for the ferret to get a grip of) and spit on the top of your hand. Let the ferret lick the spit off your hand and do that a few times a day, eventually the ferret will get used to your scent and should stop biting. Keep a bucket of water near by just in case it somehow does get hold of you but it shouldn't be able to if you do it this way. If it does manage to grab hold just dunk it's bottom half

  12. Well as luck would have it I'm currently in Poland for a month with the dog, the idea was to give her a few runs on hares so by the time our season kicks in properly she'll be mega fit......THE biggest problem with my plan, it's 30 feckin degrees at the moment, didn't really think it was going to be this warm in September! I've questioned a few people on the legalities of running prey with dogs and always get one of two answers, either running prey with dogs is a big no no as hunting with guns is big around here......or, just do it cos no one will say anything anyway. Where we are is liter
