  1. Like Brenner said, most dogs eat greens at some time, and docks are fine, I used to eat them when i was in the uk, boiled first but not poisonus
  2. Ex nth nttm but in Finland for 5 or 6 years, lost track of time now
  3. I know i'm only a terrierman but alot of you lads need to find better vets before you need em, its a lot harder for terriermen to find a good vet for our type of injurys, but it can be done. Most of you will have dealings with farmers, ask which vet they use, alot of these are better and cheaper than the "pet" surgerys. If you're lucky you'll drop on a retired country vet who still dabbles a bit and will will save you a fortune! I even moved here and found a "tame" vet who only charges me cost of drugs etc as long as i keep dropping a hare or bit of moose liver off in the season
  4. I took a jab of anesthetic when i was de budding some calves, arm was dead for hours but the w*nking was great!

  7. Well i met a girl on holiday in spain, went to Finland a few times to visit, ended up putting her in the club ( no one told me condoms don't work in sauna!). On my first visit back after she found she was up the duff she told me she didn't want to see me any more. Shock for her, I found job across in Finland upped sticks and moved here so I could be father to my son and not just bloke who comes on hol now and again. settled in with no help and even back hunting again

  11. Nice to see someone else come to the club, you have made arrangements with your wife and you want digging terriers? well thats no problem cos she'll probably leave you as soon as you get in to the digging! Bbut seriously the very best of luck in finding some good dogs, only opinion i can offer is to find some good dog men first, tag along with them and then you might find a good terrier pup might come your way

  13. The F&MWTC always welcomes new members and I know from experience how difficult it is to get volunteers to help at shows so join your local club and offer to give a hand at shows or help at a rescue as a novice even if your only making tea at a rescue or helping at a show or selling raffle ticket it takes pressure off some one else.best of luck, Good advice, thats how i started many many years ago and will always be gratefull to Taff M, Bob D and Chris H for all thier help to a tyro

Well had my first dig of the season, still a little too warm so only expected billy to ground really but got invite for weekend off good mate from west side of country so few hours drive and I arrived. The first sett, well was 2 setts close together really but not joined, I was invited to enter my pup, he went and a few mins he found, was starting to draw but then he either lost hold or something and quarry went back to the first place he found, we had a fag and a cuppa and no movement so digging commenced, easy 1.3 and dog was married to racoondog, lifted and dispatched.
