  1. yes your dogs have chance of being poisoned, if you suspect, get them to vet's, otherwise stop your baiting and ask your neighbours to stop theirs, and use fenn traps and dogs when you can.( You can lift traps)

  3. 3 pages on 1 question!! If I had a poodle from birth and brought it up with terriers would it go to ground? Sorry, nature over nurture. Still some think it's possible!(cuban)Its hard enough geting a good working terrier without trying probabililitys, but your times your own. but if a dog is born in a stable it dont make it a horse
  4. Must disagree on this point, i use them alot on badger, and alot of others across here too, but same as any breed you've got to find the right stain/breeding for your own needs. Some strains are not good digging terriers, its not even country specific, you must know who you buying from and what kind of hunting he's breeding for, but surely thats the case with any dog
  5. I keep 2 jagd terriers and they're used alot across here. General purpose hunters, high prey drive. Some strains dogs tend to come too big for going to ground. You either love em or hate em

  12. Defra could allow badger cull to control bovine TBhttp://www.meatinfo.co.uk/news/fullstory.php/aid/11430 Farmers could be allowed to cull badgers under new legislation to control bovine TB in cattle, Defra ministers have announced. Defra has launched a consultation on proposals which could see licences issued to farmers and landowners who wish to cull or vaccinate badgers at their own expense. Farming minister Jim Paice said: “Bovine TB is having a devastating effect on many farm businesses and families, especially in the West and South West of England. Last year 25,000 cattle were slaught

  16. It doesn't tell you you on the box, It's not a 3 antenna reciever like the D3, its a system simular to deben but with lights and tone, thats why I said save for D3 or barryvox, you've still got some time before the season starts, but at the end of the day it's your choice. Atb in your choice
  17. The dogs owners are probably lucky the fox didn't choke on it, the police and rspca would be dragging them off to court by now!!
  18. I use the F1 with ortovox collar, find it reliable and easy to use, but if hadn't been that i got the F1 for nearly nowt I'd have got the d3, seen them in action and worth the extra money.
  19. what are you breeding from-to? If the breeding is any good I'm sure you'll find homes for all. And who can find a good worker at 6 weeks? A better man than me!! If you offer a good price, find them homes, give them a chance to grow, and let lads pay you if the make the grade and cull if they dont.
  20. Really nice mate, now the Mrs wants one sending over!
