they can work well for shot guns, if there placed out right, but.....a lot of the times (i would say) the pigeons wouldn't land for long enough to get a shot with an air rifle, most times the magnet draws them in, at the last moment the pigeons are a where of the magnet, and fly off without touching the ground, that's were the shot gun is most effective, i haven't heard of anyone doing it with air rifles (i pursume) for this reason, but you could give it a go and see what happens, if you do, let us know how it goes,

Just watched an story on the news in America. A young lady got married today. Apparently her father was murdered 10 years ago and her family agreed to donate his organs. A recipient received his heart. The daughter found out it was given to a man and she wrote to him and asked if he would consider giving her away at her wedding. She said it would make her day as her father would be there somewhat in body and spirit. He replied and agreed saying it would be an honour and that he would be proud to give her away. i saw them box this morning, it weren't all that really, bit of a poor show from our boys, Barnes looked done in after a round, it looked like a hit and hope match,

i must admit, i don't like all of the events, but the ones that keep me watching are.....track and field, gymnastics, swimming, diving, the boxing was a bit of a let down, the ones i saw only had three, three minute rounds, and some looked knackered after a round, iv'e seen better scraps in the play ground back at school, i don't watch any of the out door cycling, it bores me to tears, like the tour de france, also bmx, i suppose if it's not your thing, your stuffed for a few weeks....

totally agree mate.....i don't even know why, the prison governor, even had an investigation, he should have ignored it all together, that scumbag has no rights to anything.....other than a bullet.

i hope the move is plain sailing for you, i did the same mate, about 15 months ago, i up stakes and moved over the pond to canada, and it's been a good move so far, you have to do,what you have to do, for that better way of life......it's no good looking back, and regretting, that you could have done it.....the best of luck on your journey mate,

I think kids are different, I think they lack empathy across a spectrum but even the nice kids at 15 don't care about anyone else but themselves. there was a documentary on this some years back, the mind of a serial killer, you are born with it, they took MRI images of a normal persons brain, and then of a serial killers brain, it was clear as night and day with the results, there was a part in the brain, ( i can't remember which way round it was ) if this area was connected, you would kill, or if it wasn't connected, you was normal, but it's something you are definitely born with....

when nesting season is over they will roost in flocks at twilight up to 100 together in dense forestry especially in midwinter and grey/carrion crows do the same ive seen flocks of them above 500 washing themselves in shallow water on flooded bogland then heading in to wood to roost for night. They split up the next morning at daybreak and meet again the following evening but ive never seen magpies or grey crows flock in huge numbers in summer. If you were into setting poison when it was legal you could wipe out massive numbers by setting bait at one of those flooded areas. that's interesti

how many have you seen in one hit......normally you see alot of single ones, or pairs, and then the odd bigger group, but the most i had seen in one hit was 18, what i thought was a big amount.....but yesterday evening, i was amazed....45 flew over head at once, surely, that's got to go in the Guinness book of records..... has anyone else seen so many in one sitting?

whilst watching the program, your thinking, what on earth would poses someone to do it, there individual answers were.....the first guy just wanted to look like a body builder, as he didn't like the look of his own body, this is a before and after, the other guys reason was.......he's always been a Mr nobody, no one noticed him, so he started to inject himself and people started to pay him the attention he was looking for, and he love it, people would ask him for a pic of him and them together, which fueled his ego even more, so he injected even more, but the other guys reason was
