  2. My boss (the estate owner) she's a RFD and they're bringing guns back and forth to and from the state's all the time with very little hassle apparently. The only thing is that most people aren't RFD's so doubt that this is of much help at all lol. Unless you try to become an RFD if your wanting to be importing/exporting guns frequently. Cheers, atb.
  3. I just bought a S&B Hungarian (30mm tube) 8x56 ex demo for £450, comes boxed with warrenty, never even been on a rifle. My head keeper got a Swarovski 8x56 (second hand, like new) from the same shop as me for £365...

  6. You can still snare along fence line's as long as a snared fox can't get tangled up in it i.e the big gaps in a ri-lock fence, you can however snare along a fence line(or us a wire midden) if its made from chicken wire (so he cant get tangled up) and if its high enough so that when snared the fox can't get himself over it or tangled up in it and then be suffocated. Hope this is of help But if in doubt always check the latest snaring laws as the seem to be changing all the time right now...
  7. Ayeaye matey. I'm doing the game keeping coarse the now at Thurso. You can do four years with the college, 2 years as a skillseeker (basically you work and live on the estate and go to college for one week four times a year) Then you can go on and do your NC which is a year long coarse, where you got up to the college once a week, 8 times a year (I think, don't hold me to it! and there is a bit more class work involved for your degree). Then you can do your HNC where you go to college 2 weeks a month every 2 months I think, from what the other lads were saying. I'm doing my first of four years
