  11. Was that the only out come of your study, that if you see prints in the clay you put a trap in, so if you found tracks in your clay but there was no food for the mink in that area do you think he is going to come back,
  12. they love doing this especially in public parks where they are used to people, easy pickings for people that have had picnics
  13. all depends whats written on the item, ie, gift, merchandise if its a gift then no vat would need to be paid but merchandise would
  14. you can make a partridge hut and run for less than £200, day olds are not a £ to buy if your hatching your own then they will be less, sa4 heaters you can pick up for £25, drinkers and feeders few quid each, header tanks £25-40, saddles £1, gas should be off heat in 3-4weeks, £. crates and trailer 4k, if your doing enough birds you can make a profit 2nd year easily
  15. I would say the first year you should break even on your layout of sheds, shelterpens, runs, heaters then next year will be when you start getting a profit,
  16. 28g 7n half shot is all you willl need for decoying, £36 a slab
  17. aint been hit by a bird but hit by a pellet, was shooting dreys with the shottie and there was a close one only about 10 ft high and i aimed straight at it, as soon as i heard the bang there was a sharp pain right on my nose and it must have been a rebound from the drey, that hurts
  18. as long as you know which way the mole is coming from 1 would be ok but its going to be 50/50 of you catching
  19. or you could just do what you did to catch the first mole and put the trap back in the ground
