    this misses is 5 months pregnant with our first, and we are in the middle of building our house on her parents farm. so 2011 is going to be f*****g mental for us

    id recommend blackthorn, as you can get a stunning finish if you pop it up your chimney for a few weeks when your done. let us know how it goes. atb

    i have had the trap sent all the time for the last 2 years its just always inside the chicken shed. first time ive had it outside. nice to know i have more stresses ahead might just keep it inside in future atb

    i put a live rat trap outside our chicken shed this morning with a bit of ham fat and some chicken feed. went back an hour later to give the chickens some water and found that a blackbird has got trapped in it. have anyone else found this happening over this cold spell? or is it just a rare one off? atb

    i got it working this morning.. i had to drill a larger chamber and it worked perfect.

    well i have managed a very low quiet whistle. which is better, a longer or shorter chamber? and i have read a nice clean open hole is better (yes i know we all like that)

    we have one similar on our farm and you can grow pretty much anything in. and the good thing is you can experiment with different varieties of veg that your normally couldn't grow here. keep us posted

    does anyone on here make their own whistles, i tried using a step by step guide HERE!!! i have made 2 but still cant get it to work. can anyone give me a better guide or show me photos of yours. ATB
