  3. as i pulled onto my track to get to my farm we saw a buzzard standing on the bank. as we pulled next to it he never flew away and we noticed that he left wing was damaged. i jumped out of the car and although he looked alert and hopped a few time he still looked in bad condition. i took my jacket off and threw it over him and my misses ran and got a box and towel. as i tried to put the box over him i realized that buzzards have very shape talons. (my hands and wellies were then covered in blood) we eventually got him in our kennel. a big stone building with straw and the floor, gave him
  4. nice pics mate, my hands get so muddy id be scared to take my cam out in case i break it
  5. garden cane with electrical tape around the top, then memorize how many in each field. plus if stock will take the cane, spray paint in a circle around the hole with the trap, or dot of paint on the fence near the set. depends where i am and what the land is used for
  6. where are the rats? do you know what their main food source is? for example most of our rats are around the chicken shed, so i would bait with chicken feed as they are already eating it, if your not sure then i would recommend snickers bar or peanut butter as they go crazy for both. as for camo, rats are brave little buggers and will explore most things if they smell food. i never feel the need to camo mine. and the only reason i would hide mine is if non targeted spices could get in, such as birds. (with the trap being outside) hope this helps and good luck. atb
