  1. ive just got back, it was perfect all morning then when i went out it went hot :realmad: , got 2 rabbits with jake but they where mixi :realmad: the ground was perfect up here, the pup had a good rag on them and he tryed to carry them home . shame about mixi as its good ground for the dogs :realmad:

  12. i knew this would happen :11: . this is my penny's worth, i would say a hare, for the reason a hare thinks on it feets looking of ways to slip the dog, i would also put a fox in this category when hunted by hounds, where as a deer panics when pressured.

  17. i would go along with a fully mature red stag, i was down in cleethorpes coursing about 5yrs back and we put one out of a dyke , it was a monster weighing well over 1000 with a full set of antlers, i'm no deer expert but i cant see any dog pulling that down single handed, it ran straight in front of our moter without a care in the world clearing a hedge and a ditch as if it wasnt there, over the years we have hunted that land ive noticed the footings about but that is the only time ive seen it, i was amazed that an animal that size could stay out of sight with not much cover about. my pal jo
