    they also lie in rock pools when the tide goes out, there was a programe [paul young]showing a bloke hunting them with a terrier on a fishing programe a while back, the dog was marking them under rocks and he was pulling them out with a pole

    sometimes i use protectors that they use on sledge dogs kye, if keeps will take a pic of them i will put them up for you to check

    if anyone does get a mill, make sure that the dog gets road work aswell just to toughen there feet, because over use of the mill will give the dog splayed feet and weaken them, but correct use is valuable to conditioning of the dog, if i had the room i would def get another, just to put them on for 10 mins a day using the maxinum gradient

    aint sure who the dam was , pickaxes brother bred him taffy , he 's filling out lovely now esp his front end, he had a serious leg injury about 5 weeks back which didnt help, he got his leg stuck in one of my jeeps and fell back over tearing his large muscle in his back leg and he lost all of his muscle on that leg, but i have him sorted now thankfully.

    here is tyke aged 7 mths, he is now over his leg injury and coming on fine, now ready and waiting to play with some longtails, i aint no expert but if had to describe him it would be bold as brass and aint scared to put his nose in, he gets on well with my dogs where others have been a nuisance causing fights. make sure you have me down for another next year :friends:

    its dosent matter what you feed them if the dog is cold weight will drop off them straight away, they use more calories shaking with cold than any amount of work

    in todays local paper, it says there is a brindle lurcher dog wandering around leyburn north yorks, its been there for sometime but has evaded capture, the rspca is getting involved and we know what might happen to strays when they get hold of it :realmad: . so ask about if anyones lost one or had one stolen

    a dog will lose alot of weight if its in a cold enviroment, i would also put a small amount of mallasas in its feed
