Pal, your mates in Limerick and Cork don’t even know what change is let me tell you.......let them live in London or the south east, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle or Sunderland. How many dead young people in the streets of Ireland this year ?.......how many last year? How many young kids are going around stabbing each other?.......violent crime?......street robbery ? Mate, with the greatest of respect to you and your Irish pals, they don’t even know they are born over here in that regard.

I doubt that mate......come and see for yourself how folks go to work for each other over here. They are happy enough taking the money and paying lip service to some of the nonsense rules but it don’t really touch your life, Ireland is very much Irish make no mistake. Maybe it’s because they are a young country, don’t forget it was only 100 years ago they defeated the biggest power in the world to get their own country......standing up for yourselves is still pretty fresh in the collective memory here mate.

It’s different here mate, people are not exposed to the same pressures and their day to day lives are much better. Folks ain’t angry all the time because they don’t have much reason to be. There isn’t the density of population, there isn’t the same amount of small minded busy bodies and there isn’t a race to the bottom about who can bow down to the fuzzy wuzzys the lowest. I hear you mate but what you have to remember is, according to the news media , the “Far Right” is actually just normal right of centre, conservative (not Tory )/libertarian politics mostly.........most normal work a day blokes would be considered “Far Right” by modern standards when in fact they are f**k all of the sort. When the news says “rise of the far right” it’s really code for “watch out, we are coming to make some more laws about what you can and can’t say, read, look at or be a supporter of” It’s normally the precursor to some “more government”

Funny you say that, when I was there working I thought exactly the same, it was only the fact that I always make a point of booking myself into a really nice hotel when I have to be away that made it bareable. However, when I visited with the old women for a week on her 40th I loved it?......it just seemed very different being there to enjoy it rather than having to graft.

I don’t really follow boxing now and have not done for many years. But reading you lads comments it seems the blokes not very pure about himself as a sportsman.
