  1. If it’s digging you want, stay in Skandinavia.....pal of mine was out there years ago with a couple of other lads off this site and had a whale of a time
  2. RV and just cutting about small town America in the mid west and southern states......mingling in, chatting to people......burning the odd cross ! (Joke by the way) Stopping whatever I liked the look of.
  3. Maybe it’s just me and obviously it’s only ever what I see on the telly but I always think California looks horrible......it looks dirty and depressing to me. The mid west, the south always looks much more appealing. Id love to take a look at the states one day but California definitely won’t be on my list at all.

Any decent non league clubs round you?....
  8. I’m crying my eyes out laughing here!....that’s amazing ! Lol ?
  9. They have fooled an entire generation into that mind set......they brought in that f***ing Windrush mob under that excuse but really it was just so they could lower the bar for everybody. They then chucked a couple of generations of our own people aside, paid them off with welfare and brought in more odd marks to do jobs those generations had happily done for years previous. My family as far back as I can trace used to go hopping every summer as did thousands of Londoners, what happened to that?. They don’t want a generation of native white Europeans with a work ethic....much to

Yeah, they get cold when they are little mate and easily bored. My older boy costs me a fortune backwards and forwards to the cafe all through the game ! Lol

It’s howling in Ireland mate, all Liverpool and Utd “fans”.......half of them have been no where near Manchester or Liverpool. Sligo Rovers and Longford are down the road but their domestic game is falling to bits because it just don’t get the support......I wouldn’t mind, but it’s cheap as chips as well. €15 to get into Sligo Rovers, that’s a top tier league of ireland side and the grounds half empty all the time......meanwhile they are all cracking on about “events at old Trafford” and all that bollocks. My lad sticks it right on them, he listens then says “yeah, and when was

I totally agree, you do feel more connected to the game and dare I say it, the players and the club. And I also agree it seems to mean more to them, they ain’t two bobbing about things either......they warm up and drill properly, they drive each other on.....I have to admit, I love it. It nice as well at the local place because my boy used to play for them too so it gives you that bit more of a connection and it’s so refreshing to see proper football compared to over here. Covo has been the manager at my (old) local club for years, his boy is a coach and his grandson is trying t

Just in from football, obviously they are all Utd or Liverpool fans, good lads but the banter is f***ing howling ! All cracking on, tonight one of them (A Utd fan) said “we didn’t used to give it the big one” and I was like “oh f**k off, you used to treat winning doubles and trebles like it was totally normal” Lol
  15. In Ireland some people would vilify you for honouring those blokes mate, retarded as f**k if you ask me. I fell out with a bloke Poppy Day because he was chatting some shit about the Brits and shove ya poppy up your arse an all that.....now, I’m not a particular Poppy Day fanatic but I ain’t having all that bollocks uttered within earshot of me. We were still the best nation in the world when we was still united and them blokes had honour and courage beyond most you see today.

I was at a belting game last Saturday, local club played Kingstonian......the game had everything. End to end stuff, went at each other, just enough niggle, goal disallowed, 3-3 with the equaliser scored in the last 10 minutes so the game finished will a real scrap.....12 inches from the pitch ! Fantastic ! All that for £10 !......can’t beat it mate

As a total aside, I think Germany and Spain have seen the value of good quality mental and tactical coaching for a long time where as the UK is only waking up to the fact the last 5 years. Those countries make coaching qualification a lot more accessible where as the UK and Irish FA’s see it as a bit of a cash cow.

I think what I actually said was “to make it a place players want to come to work” but I could be wrong and it probably amounts to the same thing mate. And I stand by that to be fair, off the back of the steady progression you mentioned, it should have made it easier to bring in decent players.......now don’t confuse that with I wanted or thought we could buy our way to the big time, that holds no interest to me. What you have seen a few teams do is build out of their youth system and drop good quality buy in’s into the equation. I think we are the type of club who have always b

No, fair play to you squire, it looks like you have been proved right......hands up. You know why I thought moving was the head over heart decision so we don’t need to go over all that again. I swallowed it hook, line and sinker.......still, you know the form, we was West Ham fans last year and we will still be West Ham fans next year......disappointment just go’s hand in hand with following our club. I wonder what’s it’s like to support a club that easy to support ? Lol ?

Exactly that mate, they would attract him if he thought he could use that resource but he obviously knew or believed that it wasn’t going to be part of the club’s strategy......and from what I can see, it isn’t .

I was catching up on Match of the day last night and watching Southampton, and I was thinking fair play to them sticking with the bloke who’s name I cant spell.....it would have been easy to dump him after the demo job by Leicester but they stuck and he has turned it around. Fair play to them and an example to a few people I reckon. Germany has a very good coach development system by the way.

Fact of the matter is mate, a young progressive coach like Pottechino is never going to take a club like us seriously when he stands back and has a look......imho coaches like him will be looking for a club that wants to take itself seriously and support him in his ideas. I think ambition is the word I’m looking for. Thats not us.

Our U23 development squad are murdering their counterparts at the likes of Valencia, Wolfsberg, Manchester United etc etc.....why the f**k are we considering buying the likes of Giroud on 90k a week ? Nobody wants him, nobody rates him.....this is a reflection of our policy all along Just had a look, our U23 are top of group 2 in the PL2........I won’t mention who is bottom ! Lol

This season has been waiting for us for a while imho, we have gotten away with it for 4 years but now the chickens are coming home to roost. Fact of the matter is, you can’t keep signing over the hill players , players who can’t get in their own squads, players who good teams are willing to release, 8 foot wogs from France, coke heads constantly “injured” and basically players who never took themselves or their football seriously enough to get on at clubs or in a league that matters.......it has absolutely no place in the modern game. Same go’s for managers, employing your journeyman

I have been saying this for ages, it not ideas above my station stuff it’s just football reality as I see it. City and Liverpool have raised the bar for everyone in terms of fitness, style and aggressive, attacking decent passing football where the ball moves quick and the players have to move with it. We have never got near that pace apart from one blip of a season before we left Upton Park under Slav......we have muddled along, happy to stagnate and just “stay up”........clubs just trying to “stay up” have no place in this style of football or the premier league anymore, times have
