I reckon it going to be a delicate balancing act for Ireland. They have set up a ferry service already to go round the UK but it’s a 24 hour crossing and god knows how much it will cost. Its odd stuff I find funny, so at 5 to 11 on the 31st I can bring in a car, truck or machine no problem.......at 5 past 11 that same bit of kit has to be completely dirt and soil free in case of contamination ! Lol Its all that type of nonsense that’s going to have to get dealt with.

I think it will be a process mate, what lots of folks hoped for won’t happen overnight. There is 50 years to unravel and that won’t be quick.

Good for you mate, if the pay ain’t to clever then a bit of tickle is what makes up the shortfall. I have known a couple of firms in my life where the boys tickle made up for a poorly paid industry, it didn’t really effect anyone but the firms clamped down on it and lost all their best people. One of them went skint in the end and they were a big firm, nobody any good was interested in working there and the ones that did only did the bare minimum. Should have let them keep on selling a lorry load of kit here and there that was only destined for the tip anyway.

I hate the bloke but there is no getting away from the fact that’s it’s one of the best bits of British telly I have ever watched ! Its got to be worth watching just for the scene where the ginger kid calls him a “peado” and he says “I’m not a peado but if I was you’d be safe you little ginger c**t” lol ?

That’s true mate, and it’s also a positional thing too. Its like the Christiano Ronaldo and Messi debate, different players, different positions and different styles.....you cant make that judgement imho All you can do is have a look at a player at the end of his career, do the maths and think about his overall impacts on his team or teams and the game in general. Paulo Maldini got mentioned, played all his career for his club, won everything, won his last champions league medal at 40 ! and is also a player you would show young defenders if you were trying to teach them how to g

After Life by Ricky Gervais is amazing mate. I couldn’t stand the geezer but I put the first one on and ended up watching the whole lot in one night....it’s one of the best things that I have watched and it’s British.

Yeah, standards are dropping mate. Our old Sunday league when I played had something like 10 divisions of 15-18 teams !! It was the biggest Sunday league in the country at one point I think! Obviously a mixture but there were some really decent teams and players amongst that lot, it was great

He had to pack up because of a thyroid condition, it first got diagnosed in the medical for Real Madrid or maybe it was as late as Milan. His knee healed up, but he took such a kicking that it was bound to have had an effect. Funny, I’m chatting about Ronaldo and sat watching Dundalk v Athlone Town.....it’s 6-0 at half time to Dundalk ! Athlone are managed by the local FAI bloke, it’s f***ing terrible.....I have genuinely seen better Sunday football !

Completely irrelevant to this conversation really mate but it tends to be that the best players play for the best teams, they have to earn their place amongst other players who are the best in the world. The mark of a great player is that they can do it time and time again in the very best teams the world has to offer......they don’t just do it once, they do it 4,5,6 times. Thats a great player imho ?

Not hardly heard a peep out of anyone as we have been slowly but surely walled in over the last 3 decades but now folks can’t go to Wetherspoons every c**t is a freedom fighter ! I wonder how quick they will all disappear again when this shit passes ?
