I have no idea at all how many are “canned” or not……I just don’t see any reason to cut about wasting the most fantastic creatures on earth for no other reason than to say you killed one and to put a picture on the wall. Now, killing is killing and I accept that…..but running a fox with a lurcher that may or may not get away Scot free is a bit different to shooting say a lion in a pen with an arrow ! Of course it’s for fun and it’s also for conservation. I understand that the money raised from paying tourists means many species can stay alive and thrive, I am aware of this stuff. Its essential in preservation. But let’s not kid on it’s a “service”, it isn’t……it’s for fun because these people want to just kill the most awesome beasts around. I personally loath any situation where you have false happy, false positive, “let’s all get together” type deals going on……I’m the bloke who wants to go to the birthday party (with all the assembled well wishers who don’t bother to see each other from one year to the next and never phone each other up pretending to be all “close”) and push my hand in the birthday cake ! It’s a character flaw and one I’m quiet happy with and enjoy ! Lol ?

BUT, we all know “what it is” so to speak…..my mate was always a quiet sort of lad, bit nervous round the birds and all that but a bit of a drinker to go with it…..ginger (when he was younger ) and bald as a coot now. At the time when he first shipped her over we were all still playing football together and we ruined him about it all the time, in the dressing, after the game, out socially……

Probably one and the same thing, I believe ancient Celtic languages (as do many languages) use the same word for different things. So head & face would be exactly the same thing because it’s the same part of the body

I actually think that’s a massively interesting question and one I’m sure most people have thought about from time to time. Not really the same thing as “how did these words come into existence” but language, it’s roots, it’s history and it’s connection with peoples past is fascinating I think. Even regional or national accents are fascinating, why for instance does a Londoner talk English where as someone from Birmingham sounds like they have a mouth full of bicycle inner tubes ? Lol ?

Had to have a wry smile to myself, watching UK news (BBC, Sky etc) they have all been referring to Macron as Macron but apply the prefix “Far Right” to LePenn…..not so here, they just call them Macron & LePenn. Anyway, big day, and I don’t agree with the “f**k France” attitude…..as I said the other day in the Ireland thread, if we don’t pull together as white Europeans then we are dead ! A nationalist leader in a country as important as France is a massive coup for us.

Did a blinding mutton curry last night. Coconut Milk, tamarind extract, brown sugar. Garam Massala, cinnamon. Loads of garlick, onions My own home bred mutton on the bone. Cooked in a cast iron pot low and slow for 4 hours, came out as black as f**k with everything cooked right down to a thick sticky sauce.…..probably the best I have ever made and simple as anything ?

Totally agree, as I said, some folks invade with tanks and some (Like the EU) invade with a chequebook…..end goal is the same, control and subjugation of the invaded state.

Unfortunately mate, most of the bargain chairs, Amazon chairs, all flash and wizzy looking for £125 are Chinese and they work on at least 30 or 40% returns because the quality is terrible. Secondhand giroflex 64 will last you a lifetime and you can pull the seat pad and back pad off and just recover yourself if the material gets a bit thin. Probably set you back £150 and you’ll never have to buy another. Thats all mate, you have been properly advised ?
