Did a blinding mutton curry last night. Coconut Milk, tamarind extract, brown sugar. Garam Massala, cinnamon. Loads of garlick, onions My own home bred mutton on the bone. Cooked in a cast iron pot low and slow for 4 hours, came out as black as f**k with everything cooked right down to a thick sticky sauce.…..probably the best I have ever made and simple as anything ?

Here, everyone, look at these British protestors…..what a load of c**ts ! Be angry, be angry with them now !
-
Totally agree, as I said, some folks invade with tanks and some (Like the EU) invade with a chequebook…..end goal is the same, control and subjugation of the invaded state.

Hoy them in the sea !

Unfortunately mate, most of the bargain chairs, Amazon chairs, all flash and wizzy looking for £125 are Chinese and they work on at least 30 or 40% returns because the quality is terrible. Secondhand giroflex 64 will last you a lifetime and you can pull the seat pad and back pad off and just recover yourself if the material gets a bit thin. Probably set you back £150 and you’ll never have to buy another. Thats all mate, you have been properly advised ?

Having bought and sold literally tens of thousands in my life go for second hand, German if possible (or Danish if you can find Hag). Hag Giroflex Intersthul If American (and someone don’t know what it is they are selling !) Herman Miller (if they do know what they are selling it’s a monkey !….which you probably don’t want to spend) Steel case or Knoll If British go for Verco High back, all the adjustments, NOT leather (it will give you a bad back if you spend long periods of time in fixed position leather back & seat chairs) Giroflex 64 are a re

Not to worry, they will be doing IT in Telford next year ?

That’s amazing ! -
I absolutely sympathise with every single word of that mate, totally agree. We are certainly in the trenches that’s for sure !

Probably like most lads on here I have been lucky enough to experience some truly marvellous things, sounds a bit poncey but things like watching the sun come up while goose shooting on the estuary in the west of Scotland or being stood on top of a mountain in Wales watching a red kite and feeling like I could have just reached out and touched it. The first glimpse as a kid of mullet making their way up a river in Devon or my first ever fishing trip on the Otter. Being in the middle of nowhere in the Cotswolds, sat by a wood taking a break and watching Fallow deer, dawn on Windermere

That’s amazing mate…..shame it’s only lads like ones you get on here value that type of stuff. Id rather be just getting by and looking at that every day than be a billionaire looking at the Notting Hill Carnival……what a wonderful place the British isles is, shame they seem hell bent on f***ing it all up.

That will be like Inishturk, Collanagh Moore and over that way mate…..next stop out of that bay, America !
-
Not heard of it mate but that picture is Old Head ?

Many of those towns would have been decent years ago mate, decent people , alright not all of them were examples of upstanding citizens but salt of the earth types none the less. You go to the lakes or the borders even to this day and people are absolutely spot on, normal English folks being normal to each other. I have met and count as friends lads from all over the show, because they are just like you or me……but no, we wanted to import degradation and inevitably the less “shiny” places suffer the most. There is absolutely nothing positive to say about the social direction

A lad I know emigrated there with his family late 80s, he had to carry a gun everywhere !

They had a couple of those gated community’s in Bromley, Keston to be precise and the houses are a cold fortune……I always found that a little disgusting personally, having to pay a fortune to live in a place surrounded by walls and gates to keep all the shit out…..in your own land ! I know America is a land of stark contrasts and in many ways it seems to be a country of the very best and very worst of everything…..that’s not the model we should be aiming for imho. We have took something wonderful and polluted it ! Its a race to the bottom and that to me is fundamentally wro

Hour and a bit mate, this is closer:

City’s have always been, well, how city’s are…..that’s just a given. However, many of our city’s are not “our” city’s any more…..and if you want to get out (like the 600,000 white British people did from London in the first part of this millennium !) then it’s going to cost you an arm and a leg ! If you want to almost exclusively live amongst your own it’s out of reach of most people…..that’s a f***ing crime !

Galway city last summer
-
Just had a look, the average house price over there is nearly 300,000 ! That ain’t pocket change ! And it’s also not much good having a 300,000 gaff when everything is 300,000…..where you going to go ? We keep hearing about “a housing crisis” over there…..total bullshit, there’s no housing crisis…..there’s an affordability crisis! It will cost your common or garden Englishman more than he can afford to just be able to live amongst other Englishmen in a place not decimated by crime and immigrants and degradation ! That’s just not f***ing right in my book
-
Im sure that’s true, but who wants 400k wrapped round them and I don’t know but maybe 400k of mortgage is completely standard over there these days and everyone can afford it….but I wouldn’t want it. Everyone is different, but I wouldn’t want that hanging round my neck until I’m 70.
-
Believe me lads, I have looked, anywhere that is still slightly traditional, pretty little rural England is 800,000 to a million quid. A two bed semi in one of the pretty little ports, right on the quayside in Cornwall I think I seen going for £750,000 the other month !! I have not looked but I bet 150,000 don’t buy you a shed in places like Burton On the Water ! Im sure if I wanted to live in Toxteth or such like I’d pick up a bargain…..
-
I was down there once with Jeff Probst, Bobby Cuban and master chef Ian Flay ! It was insane, I mean, it was almost too much !
-
Tyson is lucky the lad didn’t study BJJ !
-
What I mean is, to live in somewhere rural and beautiful with no darkies, not even in a petrol garage is going to set you back a million quid in the U.K. It just is mate, there’s nothing to be sensible or silly about…..it’s a fact. It can be done here for buttons…..because it’s normal, it’s not the exception for the well off or the ones willing to take a chance on debt that big…..it’s just every day life. One thing I will say mate, if you can find a 3 bed gaff anywhere worth living for a 100k I’d get into that if I was you, you’ll sell 20 a day ! Lol ?
