I think it’s a widely known fact that Sinn Fein are “Brits out !….every other c**t in !” Sinn Fein are about as loyal to Ireland and Irishmen as Saddam Hussien ! All they have in the locker is sniping at Loyalists, the Irish Freedom Party are a much more true and sensible beast for Nationalist Irishmen.

That they are defined by their British-ness, that it’s out there on display for everyone to see in no uncertain terms, that they cling to it and regard it as sacred. It obviously the same with republican areas and I don’t begrudge them that because they are only standing up for what they feel is their history and culture and it would be remiss to say only “we” are allowed to do it…..people of the British isles proud of their heritage and saying so out loud is absolutely fine by me, if only we adopted that approach on the mainland.

Howling and amazing all in one. To be honest I’m a massive fan of the Orange orders “f**k you” mentality…..f**k me, at least somebody is saying it. Never really a pub goer (as a grown up) and it’s a bit different but the best gathering of hunting types I have ever been to was the Queens Head at Trout Beck on the evening after the mayors hunt. Absolute f***ing class !

Do you ?……now that’s interesting. This may sound silly but I think he is a bit fat for the intensity they play at….I think they are a level above where he is at, but in our team he works. Some players just work in a specific team and I think that’s the case with him……..don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see a lad come out of non league to achieve the highest heights but I’m happy we have him and it’s a place where he is highly valued. Obviously now Klopp is leaving the scousers style may change but in the present Klopp team I just can’t see that at all.

Do you know what mate, most of the time I’d say “yeah, probably” but in his case I have a feeling he will be with us forever ? Sounds silly I know but he just seems like that……like a Noble or even a Vardy and if I’m honest I don’t quiet know where else he would go ? Any of the others, yeah, but just not him ?…..no solid reason, I just feel like it’s the case.

Well, I enjoyed that and what a show by that Kudus. If we are being totally honest Freiburg we’re way too slow and way too passive, but none the less you can only play what’s in front of you and we bossed them. Young academy lad getting his debut as well. All told, nice.

“Defined by my work”….that’s a brilliant and very overlooked observation there mate. I didn’t realise how much a part of my personality my way of earning a living was…….I feel like almost a completely different person and in some ways I miss “that bloke” now and again. I had just driven over the QE2 Bridge when my wife phoned me and said “America is under attack, can you come home please” She was working in Lakeside and they had shut that down and she had been sent home. I was heading back to my warehouse to unload then heard on the radio that they had evacuated Canary Wharf and most of London was heading home. Turned round, went home and we went round my mums because she was old and lived alone and it seemed like an appropriate course of action. Sat and watched it unfold on the telly, can still remember watching those poor b*****ds jump

No, they converted to Christianity, changed names to more Anglo Christian names of the time, marriages were made and alliances formed and eventually subsumed into what we now call England. Dont forget the Dane law controlled well over half of what is modern day England, they didn’t just leave.
