I dont think gun owners need to do a dam thing, in fact they should resist ANY attempt to change the law. This is a tragic occurance, but no matter what laws you pass you will never be able to legislate for a phsyco or a criminal.

Whats the size of the lake you will be fishing?....whats the average size of the fish (if you can find out) To start with I would say you would want, 1 x rod, 12 foot 2lb TC reel that will hold 200m of 10lb line Landing net min 36in Most important, a decent size un-hooking mat And some terminal tackle for surface fishing A big bag of chum mixers and a couple of decent catapults (one for spare ) Find some decent articles on surface fishing and read up, Chris Ball, Brian Skoyles have written extensivly on the subject and then just have a go. That will get you started

For weekly publications, the quality of the content can never be maintianed due to deadlines, sponsors etc The writer will have to pen any old shit to satisfy the above, older lads wise up and get sick of reading bullshit or the same old articles time after time. The future for the written word lays, I belive, in quarterly type publications with quality content. There should of course be a price for a better quality product, but it pays for itself in the saving on crap weekly magazines. JMHO

Take your time and do your homework.....funny enough I was just having the criac with a lad from this site, so you dont have to look far If I didnt think they would be of a standard I wouldnt be asking him, so have a look and then I suppose its down to him if you can have one.
