    Dont take my comment about the lurcher personally matey, opinions are like arseholes, everyone has got one. When the two lurchers were running (and I cant for the life of me remember what colour was what) but one of them was deffo holding back and letting the other do all the graft....it didnt want to know was my very uneducated opinion. I stick by the comment about the fox, that was a pile of shite.

    Your dog sounds a grand little fella, but in my opinion a good big dog will always be more use than a good little dog as it has less limitations. All the same, for what your using him for there is probably little difference.

    This thread is a perfect example of what mixing money and dogs means!! And in reply to one of the points above, why would you be giving a dog to a stranger anyway??.....if you dont know them, then surely they come recommended from someone you do?.........and if thats not the case then actually, yes, it is just about the cash!! Have a good look at some of those American breeder sites, most of those Studs and brood bitches have never seen a single days work in there life. Be honest some of you guys, you breed for money but pretend otherwise.

    I think you really need to know what your doing to start stuff early, but my view is....why take a chance. Sure, slip a pup in when stuff has been caught...but thats it. As for asking a puppy to tackle foxes, well IMHO its either bollocks or madness.....but hey,its not my dog!
