Forcing shooters and dogmen to get on with each other in the same section would need more than a dozen mods! I think lots of lads have experience of most forms of hunting or fishing, most lads I know work dogs, shoot, fish and trap....many of them work terriers or are out with hounds regular.......most folk have something in common they can join in with. I have said before too that having sections like "lurchers" or "terriers" or "shooting" makes it very obvious from the get go what method has been used to dispatch quarry......a general hunting section would give people more elbow room to post (and i dont mean bull crosses with their faces knocked about pictures) anyone who is operating on the fringes of the law condems themself from the start by what section they post things in.......dont see why it has to be so obvious.......... one section for all hunting would be much more interesting to me.

Cracking start, I would think a good retriever can really help build a bag......I wouldn't know as none of my dogs have ever been able to retrieve for shit ! Lol lol ( my fault for not spending the time to teach them)

Totally understand about the rest bit, but from what I have seen the harder a dog is worked the tougher it becomes.....it's the ones that have too much rest that seem to develop the niggly injuries....... The sire to this litter has f**k all left in the way of stoppers by November, it don't bother the dog one bit.....come night time he is bouncing in his kennel wanting to go. It can seem hard to believe that some dogs have had a lot of tackle, but there are lads out there with access to more game than most of us ever see and willing to put it in front of their dog. Brilliant post matey, and your bang on. Not just dogs, but all "pet" animals like horses, cats etc.........if people bred less and culled more it would be a safer place for humans and a better place for pets in general.

A coat is a top idea, if your are travelling back any distance and your dog has had a good do out in cold, wet conditions then a coat is brilliant until you can get them home and dry and some grub in their belly. Most sighthound type dogs are thin skinned so it can only help. Just try running around in the pissing of rain with a biting easterly wind in January then see if you feel cold when you stop?

19 Convictions..........just off the back of a 6 year stretch behind the door..........given the fact we cant gas these f*****g vermin, when are we going to bring in the 3 strikes law like america?.......3rd conviction and away you go for life. I would think there is a world of difference between a conscript and a professional soldier who has many roles to fulfil in a small army......that is no reflection on bravery or sacrifice of those who came before just a fact. Believe me, I have a had a few lads between 18 and 24 working for me and I tell you now, not one of them would make the grade because they don't have the right mental attitude.
