    No, they have not run a show now for quite a few years. They were good shows and we really enjoyed them. Maybe some time they will decide to run it again. Margaret Mc Stay

    As Km says, JS, dont be so hard on yourself. You have done Sterling work for that school, and for future generations of children in the area, parish and sourounding countryside to enjoy and benefit from.At the same time you gave many of our Canine people and their families a lot of enjoyment at your shows .To me that speaks for itself. No explanation needed. And as Source says also, you should get a few of your mates together and run a show of your own.If you are up North at any of our Shows or Game Fairs or at any shows I am at in the South, come up and say hello.     Dessie Mackens Dog Show and Racing last Saturday 6th April 13 I was awakened by the echo of the dawn chorus, dogs barking and howling for their morning stroll across the fields in the fresh spring air of our lovely countryside along the Bann River, Yes it was that time of the year again. Saturday the 6th of April, and time to head to Dessie Mackens show, and also the first dog show of the year.     Farney Harriers 2nd Annual Dog Show, Race day, and Family day out will take place this year : On Sunday 14th July in Dundalk Co. Louth . The venue will be at the same place as last year at Junction 18 just of the M1 motorway. There will be the usual classes for Terriers, Lurchers, Whippets, Hounds, Gundogs and Pets. As it is a family day out, there will be a Bouncy Castle , Pony Rides and Face painting if weather permits. There will be some trade stands and hot food served all day. Showing starts at 12.30 and Racing to follow. Strictly, All dogs must be muzzled. No Muzzle,No Race.

    Only 3 more sleeps to Dessies Mackens Show this Saturday 6th April. Dessie has told me to let you know if he gets enough Greyhounds he will run a Race for them.. The show venue is between Gilford and Banbridge. All the usual classes for Lurchers, Terriers, Whippets, and Strong Dogs. This show will be run under NILRC rules, and will be a qualifer for the 5 Nations at Birr Castle 2013, and a qualifier for the Master Mc Grath at Shanes Castle 2013. Dont miss this brilliant family day out, the first show of the year. It will be nice to meet up with you all again, for the chat and banter. S
